He has also done his DM Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine super specialization from the renowned and prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS), New Delhi. He has gained the European Diploma in Adult respiratory medicine(EDARM) from Switzerland and also MRCP-Specialty Certified Examination(SCE) from England. He is a professional member of National academy of medical sciences and various thoracic societies including European Respiratory society and Indian chest society. He has topped and bagged the National pulmonologist quiz medal during his residency. He has been an expert member in the development of Indian national guidelines for nebulization, Indian national guidelines of endobronchial ultrasound and also Indian national guidelines medical thoracoscopy. He is well versed with recent advances in his field and has many national and international publications to his credit.
