Dr. Roy has worked full time in busy general surgical units of two of the largest hospitals in the region for the last 19 years. A considerable part of his experience has been in management of complex polytrauma, conventional gastrointestinal & peripheral vascular surgery. Minimal access surgery (MAS) is his area of special interest. He has performed over 12000 MAS procedures till date that include abdominal & thoracic operations. Apart from common laparoscopic operations, He routinely performs advanced procedures like small bowel & colonic laparoscopic surgery. He started one of the first centers of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery in India. He has successfully carried out a wide variety of VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) operations till date, namely mediastinoscopy, lung resections, decortication for empyema, thymectomy for both myasthenia & nonfunctional thymomas, lung volume reduction surgery, bullectomy etc. He has pioneered the role of single incision laparoscopic surgery in Northern India and has successfully carried out procedures like cholecystectomies, appendectomies & hernia surgeries - innovating the technique of transfacial umbilical multiport laparoscopy (TUMP).

I had great n satisfied exp. With doctor roy .i was diagnosed by accute appendicitis he treated me well .iaafraid when i got to know that prb. Coz i just had a major surgury vefore two months so i was not mentaaly prepare for the second one. But he personaally discußes me so i really appreciate the behaviour an i m completely satisfied .
Consultation experience was good, visited for my sister-in-law she had a kidney stone after consulting the doctor now everything is good. The doctor was listening to the problem and he explained about it we are happy with the explanation, he is very good in behaviour I'll recommend the doctor to my friends and family, hospital facilities are good waiting time was for one hour. Staff and nursing they were helpful.

I annoyed with the hospital as there was lot waiting, was advised immediate hospitalisation but was not given any room hence not a very good experience
