Dr. Sunil Bhaskaran

I met Dr. Sunil Bhaskaran first in 1997, for my cataract surgery. I had surgery for both eyes, first in 1997 and then in 1998. Both surgeries were successful. I am a diabetic patient since 1987 and I have been doing eye check-ups every six months, as per the advice of my Physician. I had no serious eye problems until November 2016, but suddenly I felt blindness in my right eye. I was in fear of losing my eyesight permanently. I consulted Dr. Sunil Bhaskaran at Adithya Eye Hospital. Doctor told me that the problem is one, which is related to old age. The treatment consisted of injections to my eye, eye drops and some vitamin tablets; I had to have three injections at a monthly interval. ********* ******* **** ******** ****** * ***** **** *** my eyesight is now almost back to normal. Now I go to the hospital tri-monthly for check-ups, as suggested by the doctor. My wife is also a patient of Dr. Sunil Bhaskaran; she is taking treatment for glaucoma.

Dr. Sunil Bhaskaran is very experienced and an expert doctor. He can diagnose any eye related problem at the first consultation and provide advanced medical treatment. He is also very caring and friendly. The hospital staff are also very helpful. The hospital is neat and tidy and is equipped with modern medical equipment. Adithya Eye Hospital is situated in a calm and quiet area; I feel a homely atmosphere in the hospital. I express my gratitude to the doctor, for the high quality treatment afforded to me.

It was a special experience with the Doctor as he was explaining it in such a way that even an uneducated will be able to understand the extent of damage or correction required with quick drawings;accommodating you with an ever smiling face in a consoling way. This is the approach a Doctor should have to patients which I used to tell my son who is in the related field. Dr. Sunil Bhaskaran can be a role model for doctors. We feel that he is highly inclined in using the state of art technology with his ability and rich experience which reduces the tension of the patient to face the surgery. More over we are sure that he will do the surgery than in other places where the junior doctors do it, naturally inviting that mental agony too in other places. I have critically analysed him first time when I met him. He is trustworthy and not a person to grab your money. He charges less for the service given by him. Thus a patient can be always happy with him and feel safe for the above aspects. Dr Sunil Bahskaran is a top class Doctor indeed.

There was very little waiting time. The observations taken by the staff, prior to actually meeting the doctor were quickly and efficiently done. The doctor checked up on the efficacy of previous treatment. He then listened patiently and attentatively to my problems. He was able to diagnose the problem and reassure me as to the possible solutions. He also asked me to make a further appointment so as to double check the diagnosis.

I appreciate his knowledge, careful listening and caution with proposed solutions.

********* ******! I went there to show my mother's eye problem which we had shown previously to 6 other doctors. They could not actually explain what was wrong with my mother's eye. Some said cataract, some said retina issue and another doctor even went to the length of saying that it is because of her menopause. Oh well! Dr. Sunil was just wonderful. With just basic explanation of my mother's problem he could identify the issue. However, he did say that her issue is not actually treatable but he did mention that it needs to be checked every 6 months so that her issue does not increase. He gave the right answers and I would definitely recommend him anytime.

Doctors and all the staffs of the Aditya eye hospital are very friendly. The hospitality approch to patients and bystanders is a new experience. The neatness and services are beyond the words. The management of the hospital is very well. We are very much satisfied with the care we experienced throughout the surgery and followup consultations. A special thanks to Dr. Sunil Bhaskaran for the caring and support.

In fact I approached the doctor for a change of lense to replace the existing one with some scratches.

On examinations it was identified that the scratches were not on glass but on the original lense itself

Further examination diagnosed cataract on both eyes.

Surgery timing was conveniently arranged and successfully carried out with nominal cost.

I do recommend this hospital as in my opinion the doctor is very much friendly and very efficient in his profession. Hospital staff and their dealings with patients were very cordial and friendly. The hospital is also located in a very good area not farway from the city. For me it is a memorable experience. I will surely give a five star.

Dr. Sunill Bhaskaran is one of the best Ophthalmologists in and around Kochi. The hospital is well equipped and very hygienic. The staff are well trained and very polite. Dr. Sunil is very friendly to his patients. I strongly recommend this Eye Hospital.
