He explains in detail about the disease; it’s causes; likely repercussions if not treated; the treatment including procedures he recommends for the treatment; he even said “get treatment done with any doctor whom the patient has trust and confidence”!!! He doesn’t prescribe unnecessary tests or medications; prescribe only what is absolutely essential for the proper diagnosis and treatment - a very rare quality in this profession. He says “ he is happy if the patient is happy after the treatment “. Dr Mathew doesn’t keep the patient waiting. I never had wait more than 5 minutes to meet him - again a very very rare quality among the Doctors even with an appointment!!! Before meeting Dr Mathew I had gone to a well known reputed hospital near Edappally for consultation with a senior ENT doctor with an appointment but he made me to wait for almost 1hour 30 minutes before meeting me for 5 minutes and asked me what I want him to do for a case - should have done the remedial surgery 40 years back(!!) and then asked resident doctor to attend to me and I decided never go to them. Where as Dr Mathews patiently heard my concerns on 3 separate meetings to clarify my concerns and instil confidence in me that The treatment will be 100% successful. I was referred here by Mr George Zachariah. I'm highly satisfied with the service provided and the doctor is a thorough professional who listened to my issues patiently, made me feel comfortable and at ease and helped to resolve my problem. I went here with ear pain and the doctor identified that ear wax jamming was the cause of it. He then beautifully explained why this occured, the various reasons and remedies. The doctor is very well experienced and knowledgeable. 10/10 Will recommend. The cost of my ear wax removal was 1000 and 500 for registration/consulation (as I was a 1st time patient). Every rupee spent is worthy here and you get the best in the field to have your ear issue looked at.
