Ms. Sakshi Danwar is a Trauma-informed Counselling Psychologist and Internal Family Systems therapy Practitioner in Delhi, Pitampura. She is internationally trained and helping many people across the world via Teletherapy and In-person therapy sessions.She has worked as visiting counseling psychologist in Lakshmibai College, Delhi University, Krishna hospital, JSR hospital, Indian Red Cross society, IOCL, HCL, and other corporates. She has formerly worked as a counseling psychologist in Tihar prisons( for the betterment of emotional and mental health of adolescent inmates of Prison), ministry of social justice and empowerment & ministry of health and family welfare. She is experienced in working extensively with adolescents, adults, and couples using a combination of therapies like internal family systems therapy, transpersonal therapy, motivational interviewing, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Functional life coaching, DBT, CBT, REBT, Polyvagal theory & attachment-based therapy. Basically, she adopts a holistic approach that focuses on the mind, body, and nervous system (where traumas get stored) and helps+teaches her clients how to regulate it.It's also a non-pathological and compassionate approach that doesn’t focus on labeling clients with certain disorders or illnesses(which often creates shame and self-blame), Rather it works on the root causes of the issues and behaviors.
