Ms. Neevita Narayan

Ms. Neevita Narayan is a professionally qualified Audiologist & Speech Therapist from the reputed AIIMS. She has also done M.BA.She received training at various Cochlear Implant programs in the U.K: at ‘Ear Nose & Throat Hospital-London, the Nottingham Pediatric Cochlear Implant Clinic, and the CI programs at Manchester & CambridgeTraining obtained on Cochlear Implant and Brain Stem Implantation Audiology from Melbourne & Sydney furthered her professional development.She gained rich experience from setting up Audiology clinics & running departments at prestigious centers such as Hinduja, Mumbai and Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi.She has worked as clinical Audiologist for Widex India for 2 years & also for Cochlear Ltd. for 8 years. She has trained audiologists across South Asia on Cochlear Implants.Her academic profile includes numerous presentations at training workshops, panel discussions, lectures and paper presentations at national and international seminars and conferences, some of which have received best paper awards. Her special interest is in auditory implants & research in this region. She has received various awards for her presentations at a various conference related to Cochlear Implants. Has been a guest faculty at various Speech & Hearing colleges & Institutions in our country. She has been an invited faculty at various national & International conferences.She an ISHA & CIGI member.She has also been an EC member of ISHA.With over 21 years of experience in the assessment and treatment of hearing the loss in children and expertise in Cochlear Implant technology and Electrophysiology, Ms. Narayan is passionate about management of Pediatric hearing loss.In 2008, she established her own state of art center –“SpHear Speech & Hearing Clinic at New Delhi. The Clinic has pioneered in may Speech & Hearing Aspects under her guidance. It has now Four branches. There are more than 25 Speech & Hearing professionals who have been trained under Ms.Neevita’s personal supervision & are contributing in this field.Ms.Neevita has also set up a foundation “ I Can Hear Foundation” in the year 2015. She is the key personnel to initiate project “Ghanti” under which she helps children & adults with poor socio economic condition with speech & hearing disabilities. There are more than 200 families, who have received a benefit under project ‘Ghanti”.
