Ms. Huma Anis

Huma Anis, based in New Delhi, India, is the Founder of Allied Psychological Health Services (APHS)*. Huma is a Counseling Psychologist and a Clinical Hypnotherapist bringing in 21 years of experience from previous roles at CanKids…kidscan as the HOD of the Pediatric Psycho-oncology Dept, HOD of the Pediatric Palliative Care Dept, and Psychologist & Project Manager at the Training Organization for Research and Counseling in Health. Huma Anis holds a Master's Degree in Applied Psychology from JMI, is a graduate of AMU in Psychology, and specializes in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the California Hypnosis Institute of India (CHII). She also works with TransPerfect as a Medical Reviewer for Assessment Tools. Huma comes with a robust skill set that includes Psychological Assessment, various Psychotherapeutic Interventions, Electric Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, Group Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, etc., tailored to the specific needs of children, adolescents, and adults. She also specializes in pediatric Psycho-oncology (children having cancer and their caregivers) with sixteen years of working experience. She deals with anxiety, depression and mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, and stress-related disorders (PTSD/OCD), Child/Adolescent issues, psychological issues arising from chronic health/medical conditions, and grief, loss, and bereavement. She also deals with family, relationship, and workplace issues, etc.With her active engagement and contribution to the psychological health sector, Huma Anis has also been invited to represent India as a delegate to “The State of International Pediatric Psychosocial Services”, an invitational International Summit in New Orleans, USA. She has also been a Guest faculty at East Carolina University, USA to address Psychological Issues in India. During Huma’s 22 years of career in psychological healthcare, she has been felicitated with numerous honors and awards for her contribution to the field of the psychological healthcare industry such as - Outstanding Leadership Award in Mental Health Care at the Health 2.0 Conference, Healthcare World Summit, Dubai, COVID -19 Innovation & Strategy Leadership Award, Problem Solver of the Year Award, Person of the Year (Twice) & Person of the Decade Award and many more.
