Ms. Kushagra Bhalla

Kushagra Bhalla aims to reduce distress and improve the psychological well-being of individuals dealing with mental health issues. Having joined Athena as a Clinical Psychologist, she is a compassionate and thoughtful professional with critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.She has completed her Master’s in clinical psychology from Amity University, Noida, and holds a Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology from SGT University, Gurgaon. She has worked with various organizations as an Intern Clinical Psychologist where she has gained valuable experience in understanding human psychology.As an intern, she has diagnosed psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders in individuals; developed and implemented treatment plans and therapeutic processes post uncovering their mental health history and issues; and monitored their progress by conducting regular meetings. She has worked with senior psychologists and psychiatrists at Cosmos Institute of Mental & Behavioral Sciences (CIMBS) and observed IPD patients under their supervision. She has also attended their day care centre and encouraged social interaction among clients using arts, crafts, and games.Kushagra Bhalla holds a profound understanding of speech therapy treatment and has also helped individuals diagnosed with mental health issues such as, autism spectrum disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and ADHD/ADD with this therapy. Working with the Mental Health Foundation (AIIMS), She has gathered relevant experience of interacting with the adult population admitted to the inpatient department of drug and alcohol deaddiction centre. She also made frequent visits to the rehabilitation centre to gain a better understanding of the treatment provided to the concerned individuals.
