Ms. Ritika Samaddar

Ritika Samaddar is a dietitian and nutritionist in Delhi with 27 years of practice. She is regional head at Max Healthcare and consults at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket West Wing, and Max Healthcare in Saket. She has earlier been senior dietitian at Batra Hospital, Delhi.She completed her MSc in Nutrition Sciences at Lady Irwin College in 1995. She trained as a bariatric nutritionist at Hermann Memorial Hospital, Houston, has been course director for the IFSO bariatric nutrition workshop and master trainer for Project HOPE's multidisciplinary diabetes care education programme. She is a life member of the Indian Dietetic Association, an executive council member and RD board representative of its Delhi chapter, and a life member of ISPEN and OSSI.Her work covers diet counselling and diet therapy, weight loss and obesity, lifestyle disorders, diabetic and thyroid diet counselling, healthy heart diets, infant and child nutrition, pre- and post-delivery nutrition, nutritional assessment and behavioural and functional nutrition.
