A: Dr Aruna Maheshwari had completed Her Ph.D. in 2005 from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur (Rajasthan). During Her Ph.D. She was working with a reputed school Vidhya Bhawan Society as a Psychologist and also took classes as a guest faculty at the department of Psychology, MLSU, Udaipur. In between, She conducted many programs on Stress management, Self Motivation and Positive Thinking in different private companies in Udaipur. In 2006 She moved to Delhi and started working with YMCA for their ‘Refugee Assistance Programme’. She worked with different Refugee communities like the Palestinians, Afghanis, Somalis, Iraqis etc. This experience enhanced Her ability as a psychologist and boosted her confidence. After having worked for 5 years She was offered an opportunity for conducting video lectures on Methods of Psychological Research for Uttarakhand Open University. In 2014 She decided to open up her own Psychological Health Care Centre. To upgrade her professional skills, She recently completed a three-month certificate course on “Drug de-addiction Counselling skills and Rehabilitation” organized by National Institute of Social Defence and a one-year Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation of Mental Retardation from RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) recognized university. She registered with RCI as a special educator. She started Her own psychological Health Care Centre, Treasure Tower in the year 2016 to serve her services for the mental well-being of society. The main insight behind the Treasure Tower is to remove irrational/ faulty or negative thinking which is the main obstacle in the way of leading happy and effective life. When this faulty and negative thinking (which arise from adverse circumstances like difficulties, disaster, unhappiness, hopelessness, unworthiness) dominates one’s mental state, it results in the improper behavior of an individual. This behavior inevitably affects an individual in every aspect of life - personal, social, family and professional, and can later also lead to physical deformities.
