Hello sir/madam,
When I get up in the morning(around 9.30) my mind is fresh and active. I could focus more on work, solve complex problems and talk to people fluently. However, as the day progresses my brain gets clouded, I feel tired, can't focus on anything. This starts happening from 4-5 in the evening. Please advise

Visited For Depression Treatment
It has been really very good with Doctor uncle, i have consulted him for my mother ,she was suffering from depression since last 15 years but since last 8 months she was not being able to feel better h It has been really very good with Doctor uncle, i have consulted him for my mother ,she was suffering from depression since last 15 years but since last 8 months she was not being able to feel better her condition wasn't improving and at that time my friend gave me uncle's references and its being 2 weeks now and my mother is feeling better.
The way Doctor Uncle explains every situation is unique in its own way by giving a lot of examples to make it easier for the person and his/her family to understand things more clearly. The most important thing for a person is to trust the doctor, to feel satisfied and to have that sense of belief that he/she will be fine soon and is in the right hands that level of comfort was being given by him. And another important thing which should be there in treating the depression patients is the Feedback from the patient's side to keep a track whether the medication is working in the right direction or if there is any scope for further changes which usually other doctors doesn't really work on they just give you a date for next visit and not ask for feedback till that date as there could a possibility to make changes in the medication in between in order to make the person feel relieved asap but doctor uncle(Dr.Vishal Girotra)was available whenever you wanted to talk to him to dicuss the feedback of the patient,to make sure that the medicines are doing there work in the right direction.
I know it becomes very difficult and also creates a lot of confusion wether we should change the doctor or not, what if our problems will increase etc etc , i can also understand the pain which the person and his/her family goes through, but trust me friends i would just say one thing that just visit his place once just meet him once and you won't fear from depression anymore, he will transform all your negative thoughts into positive thoughts and he will held your hand and consoles you in manner just to make sure that you will get a sense of relief asap.
Please consult him guys and you will see the change in your loved ones life..

But in the last one year he is gradually feeling better and on a nominal dose of medicine. Dr Vishal treats him like his younger brother. He listens his problem very patiently and then prescribe the medicine. He is really second God to me God bless him with lots of prosperity and good health. I have no words to thank him what he done for me and for my family. Stay blessed always!!!!!!!!!!.I strongly recommend him for all the psychiatric related problems.

My appointment started approximately 2 hour later than the scheduled time. The waiting was killing me, but I kept waiting patiently.

When I entered, 5-6 minutes after my conversation with the doctor, he wrote my prescription. He declared me to be a moderate case of anxiety. I felt that her did not try to understand me before giving the diagnosis.

Now comes the most disturbing part, when I asked about the medication and it's side-effects. He said that the medicine is: 'POISON.' It is habit-forming and addictive. And when he saw how terrified I was to hear this, he said that he was using "Satire." I got very confused about why would a trained practitioner play literary games with a patient in trouble? Then after saying this he started explaining me some medical jargon. When I appeared concerned and disturbed, he took the prescription sheet back angrily and said that he won't give medicine to someone who is so "Negative." (????????)

It deeply disturbs me to imagine that someone who is worshipped by so many for their sanity was so easily triggered. May be he was tired after a long day of nagging patients. But then, what can I as a patient who is ready to pay Rs 800 for 15 minutes do to deserve this kind of an experience?

Dear, I would like to respond to your feedback as below:

Firstly, I apologize that you had to wait, but as you understand that in a psychiatric practice each case is unique. Since you told me you are a psychologist yourself, I hope that that would be aware that sometimes it takes much longer than usual in a particular case. Though I try my best to avoid long waiting times, but it's not always possible.
Additionally, if you could recall, I stopped my counseling session with the other patient in between and asked that patient to wait outside for sometime so that I could see you, as you were waiting for long.

Secondly, you felt that you were not given enough time by me. Let me gently remind that you that you spent more than 25 minutes in my chamber before you left.

Thirdly, I am a touch surprised when you mentioned the phrase "medical Jargon" in your feedback. I explained the nature of the symptoms, the diagnosis and the management plan and the expected duration of treatment in as simple language as possible using examples. Though I can recall that you were using several psychological terms yourself during the discussion, which is understandable as you are a psychologist.

Fourthly, I tried my best to answer all your queries about medicines and gave you enough info about the common adverse effects. I used humor/satire since it's a common myth that psychotropic medicines are poisonous or addictive. I explained the same to you , but I am much surprised as to how an educated person like you could take it literally as if I am saying that they are harmful.

Finally, since you became a touch paranoid and agitated during the assessment and not agree to my advice, I asked you to leave & didn't charge you any fee.

I hope to see you again if you could come with an open mind and are willing to discuss all your fears without firmly holding your preconceived notions.

Take care.
