Dr Somalika Pal is a well-renowned paediatrician & neonatologist associated with Cloudnine Hospital, Kailash Colony, South Delhi. She has vast experience in the medical field, with over 12 years of experience in the field of Paediatrics and over 8years in the field of Neonatology.She is a Gold medalist in MD Paediatrics from VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. She did her DM in Neonatology from the esteemed Maulana Azad College, New Delhi.After her DM in Neonatology, she worked as an Assistant Professor in Neonatology at leading medical college institutions inthe country, like Lady Hardinge Medical College and associated Kalawati Saran Children Hospital, New Delhi and Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi.She specialises in caring for small and sick preterm and term-born neonates, including post-surgical management, advanced respiratory support with an emphasis on non-invasive ventilation,developmentally supportive care, early enteral feeding, and neuro developmental follow-up, along with routine Pediatric immunisations, nutrition and growth,and common childhood illnesses.She received the Gold medal for Best Research Paper in Neonatology at the National Conference of Neonatology (NNF Neocon) in 2019. She has authored chapters in several books on Neonatology and has several research publications (international and national) and paper/poster presentations to her credit.
