I went to Dr. Shuvendu by chance. Initially I went to him for regular niggling orthopedic problems, meeting him, talking to him, *** *** ** ********* *** ******* * ********* **** ******** ** ****** Never asks going for tests just for the sake of it. My wife had met an accident on 1st of Jan. this year. She was in quite a lot of pain & Dr. Shuvendu was not available we went to some other doctor, he asked to do an x-ray on her injured knee. Report showed nothing, he told us the pain might be because of nerve colliding with each other (nus pe nus chadh jana) for which he gave her some pain killer and ointment & to do formentation of hot & cold. Days went by but this remedy didn't worked for her & she literally started limping, when in pain she would take pain killer & the days where going on like this. One day while going to next floor on stairs she got a jerk on her wounded knee & couldn't stand on her feet. Then I took her to Dr. Shuvendu, after showing all the reports he asked my wife to walk in front of him & after he checked her knee. He asked for a MRI to be done imidiately. The result of MRI showed my wife's ligament has got teared & the meniscus has got dislocated. Dr. clearly told us that operation is the only option left since the injury has happened quite a while ago & also the consequences of not going for an operation. Ever since I had been treated by him, I had developed faith in him. We went for operation, he personally took care of all the proceedings during the process. After operation he advised physiotherapy & gave me contacts of some physiotherapist who would visit our home & give physiotherapy sessions. Presently my wife is fine & is doing all her activities normally. Dr. Shuvendu has been quiet a helpful person, still when ever we meet outside he always checks about my wife's injury. I would surely recommend anybody to him for orthopedic issues because he is a nice Doctor & an equally nice person.
