I am writing to you on behalf of my mom, Recently she has been diagnosed with cervical cancer she is currently in stage 1b2 and we have begun Chemotherapy treatment, simultaneously with radiation however, she has one last treatment of chemo left, and after more testing, the type of cancer she has is Glassy Cell carcinoma I have been doing a lot of research and find it hard to get a better understanding of what to do next. So, my questions to you are as follows: what information should I ask her doctors about her cancer to get a better understanding as to where we go from here? does my mom have a strong fighting chance? should I be asking more in detail questions, like has this spread? will we be able to know if the cancer is completely gone after the chemo treatment? how long after chemo will we know whether she beat it or not, and what our next steps should be?
