My husband paid 1049 rupees for me for a 30-minute session with Dr. Seema Sharma, but the session was disrupted by interruptions and felt rushed. Given my struggles with mental health post-trauma, opening up to someone new feels like a monumental task. Despite the rocky start, I agreed to continue treatment. In a follow-up consultation, Dr. Sharma outlined a plan involving a "Psychodiagnostic Evaluation" and CBT sessions, requesting payment via Google Pay or Paytm. Despite seeking clarification on the booking process and timing multiple times, she said she’ll only confirm the appointment after payment. I paid 1000 rupees via Google Pay, assuming it was the standard rate. However, the next day, Dr. Sharma informed me of significantly higher rates, which were never mentioned before. Rs 3000 for the Psychodiagnostic Evaluation, Rs 1500 for CBT sessions, and Rs 1000 for counseling. These rates were never discussed before despite me asking her multiple times. Feeling misled, I requested a refund, which she did do. Mental health professionals should never exploit their clients, especially when vulnerable. It's crucial for them to be transparent about their rates and treatment plans from the outset, ensuring clients feel respected and understood throughout the therapeutic process. Exploitative practices undermine trust and can harm the therapeutic relationship, hindering progress and well-being. I am a patient of Dr. Seema. I have completed my 100 sessions recently. When I had started my sessions with doctor, I didn't know anything about the psychology and how it works. I was much confused, stressed, unsatisfied and unhappy in my day to day life. I had no hope for life, I was living only to fulfill my responsibilities. I had very rigid patterns of behaviour, I was always depressed and in anxiety. I had many fears, that time these fears were my life, some people made me so for their personal benifits. It was my world of that time, I thought it as a reality because my subconscious mind internalised all the negative and bad behaviour of other people towards me.

In starting of my sessions, I had trust only on God and on the doctor. She removed my baseless fears slowly slowly. I could talk to her about my personal thoughts, first time in my life someone told me that I was right. I gained my confidence back because of doctor. Before starting the sessions, I had many physical issues with the psychological issues, some were big and some were small, but these are also cured with my psychological issues. Now I feel more confident, satisfied, peaceful and relaxed. It is all because of doctor. She talks sweetly.

Now I am going towards my growth and development, doctor told me to do growth without the fear of any failure. Now I have started to do my study again after too many years. Now I can do what I want to do, it is a real magic in my life. Sometimes I wonder that it is real or my illusion but it is real. It is as my dreams come true, my life has changed fully. Now I can take decisions of my choices which are in favour of me and in favour of my loved ones. Most of the circumstances and people around me are same but I have changed now. Now I am confident, strong, and hopeful. I can talk to doctor on any topic, she is always ready to help me. Sometimes I think that God has sent her in my life. Thanks to God and thanks to Dr. Seema for making my life beautiful.
