My father got his hip fractured. We admitted him under Dr Sanjeev in Janakpuri.He got the X-ray done and told us that he has neck of femur fracture. Due to his age the fracture cannot be fixed and his hip needs to be completely replaced. He got all the necessary investigation done to see whether my father is fit for surgery or not. After that surgery was done it took around 3 hours. After surgery he was allowed walking from the next day. The physiotherapy was started while he was admitted in hospital so that he becomes used to it and do the same at home. After 3 to 4 days of surgery he was discharged from hospital.
