It was my first time visiting a psychologist *** ******* ******** ** ************* *** **** *** ******* **** ****** ** ****** ** ** ***** ************ ******** ****** **** ***** * *************
First of all, she did not give me enough time, I must have got around 15-20 minutes of her time when I was supposed to get 30 minutes ******* ***** * ***** *** **** ******* ************* ***** *** * *** ** ***** **** **** ** ***** *** *** **** when it's your first time meeting them so they can understand you better) and in those 15-20 mins she was on call twice.
Then after telling her what I was going through, all the advice/counsel/words I got from her were just three sentences,
1. Write a journal
2. Do whatever you want to
3. Not to confide in friends since they come to/look for you when they want to have fun or relax since they are also caught up or busy with their own schedules or problems so they might find you negative or spreading negativity since you'd be sharing your problems with them.
I was not at all satisfied by her counsel so I called up my friend(my intuition could not accept her third advice so I called my friend anyway) who suggested me talking to a psychologist since one helped her when she was going through similar problems like mine and told her the counsel I received from Dr. Monica. *** ********** ** ****** ** *** ***** ****** **** *** ****** *** ********** ******
I was not at all satisfied with the counsel I received from Dr. Monica and would never recommend her to anyone. Furthermore, Dr. Monica suggested I talk to her once every week (Monday to be specific) and to have at least 5-6 sessions with her and she gave me her personal number and asked me not to book my next appointment with her through Practo and to contact her directly through whatsapp.
Not happy with the her counsel and would never recommend her to my friends or anyone.

As a part of my counselling psychology internship, we were given the valuable opportunity to observe her sessions. I had the chance to visit Dr Monika Sharma’s clinic and the experience was truly enriching.
During my visit, I observed three different cases and was deeply impressed by Dr Monika’s compassionate, insightful and realistic approach to therapy. What stood out the most was how she helped clients understand their issues by connecting them to real-life experiences and stories, gently guiding them towards self-awareness and growth. Her way of explaining the ‘why’ behind emotions and behaviours and helping clients discover the ‘how’ to cope was incredibly impactful.
Even during our online classes, I found her teaching style very engaging and grounded in practical knowledge. But seeing her work live increased more and more of respect and admiration. She brings immense warmth and clarity to her sessions and her ability to weave personal experiences into clinical insight makes learning from her truly special.
I feel lucky to have been mentored by someone so dedicated and empathetic and I believe anyone who gets the opportunity to even interact with her will feel the same.
What does a person do when they are in the deepest darkest hole imaginable? That's where I was before I met Dr. Monika Sharma. Struggling to cope with severe depression, compounded by schizophrenia, paranoia, OCDs,anxiety attacks, etc, I rarely had a cohesive moment or thought. And when I did, it was always about how to end this wretched existance and a pathetic excuse for a "life".
Dr. Sharma did not shine a searchlight into the dark hole, for that would have blinded me. She did not grab my hand and yank me out as that would shock me further. What she did was make me want to come out of this dark hole. She guides me whenever I reach out to her. She sees into my darkness with the light of her knowledge and helps me negotiate the labyrinthine blind darkness of my mind.
Before I met Dr. Monika Sharma, my thoughts were occupied by how to end my life. That was then. Now, I simply reach out to her. Now, I enjoy my struggles as I prevail over them. I am in the ring and depression, etc are my opponents. Round after endless round I keep fighting. Only time will tell who wins but I, for sure, am not going to loose, or throw in the towel. I have Dr. Monika Sharma as my coach and she helps me see what I can't or won't.
