My younger son turns 12 today and as the wishes pour in , my sincere thanks to Dr Meeta Sarkar who held my hand through a very difficult first trimester. Her experience and brilliance at her profession, saw me through a smooth normal delivery, inspite of my elder son being born through ceasearian delivery.

Medical issues always rattle and unnerve but thanks to doctors like Dr Meeta who with their expertise and excellence help us navigate so well.

Always ready to lend a patient ear, one can trust her judgement. She is one of the rare doctors who prescribes and suggests tests/ medicines/procedures only if required.

As I started to plan a baby I noticed some problem with my monaural cycle. I consulted Dr Meeta, I knew her through my sister as both her kids were delivered by her.i met her n She diagnosed n treated my problem so well that I did not have to have any medication post my surgery. I had ovarian cyst and a blocked tube which she diagnosed on second visit post some basic tests. I got my surgery done in July 2015 and June 2016 I delivered my baby boy. I was 4 weeks pregnant and went for the check up to this doctor. That was my first child, so it was obvious I will have lot of questions about pregnancy. Whenever I used to ask her questions, she refused to answer and every time asked me to ‘go and buy pregnancy books then read it, but please don’t ask me such silly things’. If I had to read the books then why would I consultant doctor, I would become my own doctor instead.

Also, I am working and asked her ‘do you think I should take a leave for a while’ and her reply was ‘you aren’t the first woman on this earth who is working and got pregnant, people are there who could manage both work and pregnancy’. Me and my husband listened to each and every single time. And then after 7 weeks of pregnancy I had a miscarriage. That was so disappointing and depressing to loose your first child I realised.

**** arrogant lady Gynecologist I have ever taken my wife to. she write *********** test and charge fee again to examine them within 2 days also. instead of congratulating you for your first child she demotivated us. she simply goes for random visits during appointment hours and makes you wait for hours. felt like visiting for a govt. Gynecologist.

In these days of many malpractices in hospitals most gynaes will try to make you go into caesarean because it suits the hospitals income while the patient's suffer. Dr. Meeta is not only a good human being she is also not corrupted by the pressure of the hospital managements. Her mainstay is that she provides normal delivery. For both my kids, she did normal delivery which was a relief to us. I'm neither a relative of Dr. Meeta nor her promoter in anyway. We heard about her expertise from our neighbours and planned to visit her at Max Multi Speciality Centre, Panchasheel Park.

Her approach was very professional and straight. Initially, we felt like she is rude, however, by the time passed under her medical advice, we realised that she had done so keeping our medical requirements in mind and made us to follow her directives strictly for our betterment only. My wife, who had suffered a lot for so long with Gyno related difficulties, is confident after her treatment for early relive and healthy life.

I started visiting Dr. Meeta in 2010 when I was pregnant with my first and only child. Since then I have developed a strong bond with her. I really respect her medical advice and more importantly, her medical ethics. I had a normal delivery, like most of my friends whose gynae she has been. She was there to deliver my child at 12 in the night! Really incredible and praiseworthy. Since then, she has helped me sail through various medical procedures including a miscarriage and a laproscopic surgery for suspected ovarian cancer. She is strict and sometimes will not listen to you but be patient. Good doctors are hard to come by!

I went to Dr Meeta Sarkar in the 5th month of my pregnancy, having had felt that the very senior gynaecologist I was going to was not addressing my concerns, troubles.

Dr Sarkar's clinic was far from my residence, so I thought maybe I will consult her once. But when I met her I instantly felt I was in good hands. I felt assured.

I was unable to eat during my first 2 trimesters and would have severe stomach ache and puke. She identified the issue, and finally the rest of my pregnancy was smooth sailing.

She insisted on having a normal delivery as far as possible, and when D day came unexpectedly on a Sunday morning, she rushed for my delivery. It was normal!

I have consulted her since for other issues and would strongly recommend her to all ladies.

I was referred to Dr. Meeta sarkar in hopes of experiencing the amazing journey of pregnancy and eventually having a family. she is very methodical in every step and explained the reasons on every decision to be made. We are consulting Dr Sarkar from more then 20 years now and find her very good and experienced. Both our our child,s delivery happen through her treatment and supervision. Both delivery was normal.
