I would like to share my experience with Claritas Eye & Retina Institute in Delhi . A few months ago, I started experiencing blurred vision along with occasional floaters and flashes in my right eye. I would like to share with all, that since 2015 my vision in both eyes was deteriorating. Over a period of time vision on my left eye worsened to the extent that I was experiencing a lot of floaters, flashes, spots etc. Around the 2nd week of January, 2016 suddenly my left eye was curtained and I partially lost my vision. I rushed to the RP Centre in AIIIMS immediately on 13/1/16 and I was highly blessed to meet Dr. Mayank Bansal.

Dr. Mayank thoroughly examined my both eyes and diagnosed that I have a RD temp with macula off on my left eye. Though I was highly tensed, Dr. Mayank gave me the confidence that I need not be worried much and advised to undergo a RD Surgery at the earliest. On 22/1/16 the RD Surgery was done on my left eye by Dr. Mayank successfully. I got discharged on 27/1/16 and since then he’s been examining the progress of my eye diligently. Today 10/3/16, I am happy to share with all that my vision on my left eye is restored and it is improving steadily.

Amazing Experience : I am writing this after undergoing 2 surgeries with Dr. Mayank Bansal. Right eye Vitrectomy followed by Cataract removal. One fine morning I was diagnosed that I have Retina Detachment and I need to undergo surgery in a day or two to prevent blindness. I was utterly confused on what has happened and was angry, disappointed, down and literally not able to accept what has happened. Best thing that happened was I got referred to Dr. Mayank Bansal for next steps. Have to say that Dr. Mayank knew what would be going in my mind and immediately gave me time for meeting even though it was well past evening. 1st Meeting : In the 1st 10 minutes my problem was "our problem", I became "we" and you became "us". These(us, we and our) had given my family and friends a feeling that was so much required. What followed was amazing way of diagnosis, reasons of happening and next steps. After almost 2 hours of spending time I knew my eyes are in safe hands. My 1st surgery happened on 22nd Aug and 2nd was done on 30th Aug. Must say that Dr. Mayank really went over and beyond to take care of my eyes and was always available during entire post-operative weeks. I visited Dr.Mayank Bansal for my mother's retina & cataract surgery after visiting numerous different opthalmologist's in Delhi. What distincts him from other surgeons/opthalmologists is his kind nature, patience, hardworking, friendliness, domain knowledge, willingness to treat, no money exploitation attitude and everything that a good doctor should have. Apart from regular examination, he counseled us for almost 30 mins from his busy schedule to make us understand all aspects of eye problem and correction procedure which gave us lot of confidence.Post surgery as well he was very proactive in scheduling follow up checkup's and even available over phone during off timings and during his vacations too - I haven't seen any doctor doing so.I would just like to say a big thanks to him and found myself lucky to find him.

Dr. Mayank sir performed Retinal Detachment Surgery on my left eye.. now it's been five months and my retina is successfully attached, and i have best possible vision in my eye.

Mayank sir also carefully examine my retina after surgery. He never miss his routine. He is always present on time for his patients, do best he can. i have gone for many follow ups after my surgery, and he was present there for each one of them, never disappoints his patients.
