Dr. Kanika Sharma

Dr. Kanika Sharma is a pediatrician with a special interest in pediatric nephrology. After completing post graduation in pediatrics from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, she trained as a fellow in pediatric nephrology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. During her training, she gained expertise in the management of a number of pediatric nephrology and urology conditions including antenatal hydronephrosis, congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract, acute glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, kidney failure, tubular disorders, urinary tract infections, vesicoureteral reflux, urolithiasis, bladder and bowel dysfunction, bed wetting and childhood hypertension. She is well trained in clinical procedures including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and plasmapheresis.
