Dr. Himika Chawla is a Super-specialist practicing as Consultant Endocrinology and Diabetology at PSRI hospital in South Delhi. She completed D.M. in Endocrinology and Metabolism from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She has over 5 years of experience in managing patients with general medicine and endocrinology. She has expertise in the comprehensive management of all types of diabetes in adult and pediatric patients. She has experience in using CGMS and insulin pump devices in the advanced management of diabetes. She has medical expertise in the management of thyroid diseases, metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis and vitamin d deficiency, male infertility, gynecomastia, polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD) in females resulting in irregular menses, male pattern/facial hair growth and infertility. She has managed several uncommon endocrine disorders such as acromegaly, Cushing's syndrome, hyperparathyroidism and hypopituitarism.
