You visited my OPD in c m patel hospital on 5 /5/2017 with history of trauma foot with complaint of pain on walking. On clinical examination there was antalgic gait with tenderness over the talonavicular region of foot. X-ray AP and Oblique view of foot showed hairline fracture of navicular bone. Accordingly I advised plaster of Paris cast for 4 weeks. However, you said that you will get the plaster done later on. Opinion on x-ray are based on individual judgement. Hairline fracture can be missed by any doctor/orthopaedic surgeon. Even if there is no fracture (as your second doctor is saying) Still,soft tissue injury requires placing limb in pop for 3 weeks. Everything was done diligently,prudently with due care and caution by me. Difference of opinion can be there on appropriate line of management of a particular case.
