I recently delivered a healthy baby boy under the care of Dr. Shrutopa Banerjee, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for her guidance throughout my entire pregnancy and delivery.
My pregnancy wasn’t majorly complicated, but there were a few concerns along the way. Dr. Shrutopa created a clear and thoughtful pregnancy care plan for me and supported me at every step. She was always patient, approachable, and reassuring—exactly what an expecting mother needs.
The real test, however, came during labor. I had a very slow and delayed labor, progressing painfully over 13–14 hours. There were moments when I broke down, felt exhausted, and was ready to opt for a C-section or epidural. But Dr. Shrutopa stood by me like family. She reminded me of my wish for a natural birth and gently but firmly encouraged me to keep going. Her confidence in me gave me the strength I didn’t know I had.
Because of her unwavering support, I delivered my baby naturally, safely, and joyfully. Today, both my baby and I are healthy, and I will forever be thankful for her presence throughout this journey.

We chanced upon Dr Sutopa early this year when we found out we were pregnant. Not having a gynaecologist I got her reference from the fortis website and decided to take a chance.
Me and my husband were very happy with our experience. Firstly very open minded and non judgemental. Which is breath of fresh air when dealing with gynaecologists in India. She was extremely patient and calm throughout our journey, which honestly, helped us stay calm. She was always approachable and accessible and never put too many restrictions or fears in our mind. She guided us whenever needed. Overall very positive experience with her and her staff. Both at the hospital as well as her clinic. Will definitely recommend her
