Visited For Endometriosis
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
She is an experienced *** ******* ******** I went to her in lot of pain which other doctors could not diagnose - she diagnosed as Endometrosis in the first visit. Though I had to go through a lot of tests due to my case I feel that her approach is very logic based.
more..Visited For Hysterectomy (Abdominal/Vaginal)Hysteroscopy
She is a good doctor, especially for complicated cases, but she is also driven by corporate hospital politics, whereby the patient is made to undergo unnecessary procedures repeatedly (biopsies, pathlogy & radio diagnosis) and situation prolonged endlessly....in my case, I literally yelled at them after seeing them make my mom suffer for 3 years without any empathy. finally the procedure (hysterectomy) was done fine, but I wondered why they made her suffer for 3 years & numerous hospital stays / biopsies !! as I said, its all Greed driven, but she is still an expert doctor.

Hoped for better: Value for moneyWait time
I took the first appointment for 12 pm via practo and reached there by 11:45. doc was not present as she was in OT. I was asked to make payment and come back. the billing queue is a general queue for all departments and was so long that by the time I paid and reached the doctor's room it was 12:13. doc was still not in. I confirmed that I had the first appointment to which the counter lady said no someone had come at 11 am and so they had the first appointment. I don't understand that if OPD starts at 12 and practo gives the first apportionment at 12 then how can someone who comes an hour before OPD end up getting the first appointment over mine? in that I can take a 4 pm appointment and just make sure to reach by 11 to get to see the doc first. no point in practo appointments then. the doc arrived at 1:15 and i got to see her by 1:30. too much wait. very little seating area (only 5 people could sit in OPD chairs) for a gynae opd and high charges.
