Normally these sentences would piss a patient off , if they are dealing with infertility or a stressful pregnancy. But From Dr Uma Vaidyanathan , you accept this as her way of showing warmth and care for you. My wife conceived after 8 years of marriage and we were going through a stressful pregnancy, which was at great risk. We met Dr Uma , six months ago in Max Pitampura , and during our first meeting itself we were smitten by her depth of understanding of our problem and her focused approach to resolve it. Lot of good doctors out there can do that, but what sets Dr Uma apart is how she destresses you and treats the mental aspect of the problem first. As simple it may sound , its massive for patients who have already been under so much of pressure. During our journey she was proactive with all the diagnosis and medications and didn’t leave anything to chance. She has a way of making the problems seem smaller than they actually are, so for the first time we looked forward to a doctor’s visit. Even on the day of the delivery in Fortis Shalimar bagh, strangely I was very relaxed, because I knew we are in best possible hands. Thanks to her brilliant skills and professional approach , we are blessed with a baby girl. We will always be indebted to her , not only for the outcome but also for the process.

I lost my baby last year in August to a rare heart condition. It was a devastating time for me as well as my husband. So when I conceived again in December 2019, we decided to go to the highly recommended Dr. Uma Vaidyanathan at Fortis, Shalimar Bagh. During our first consultation, Dr. Uma came across as such a positive person and was such a calming influence on me who was a bundle of nerves and anxiety due to my past pregnancy. Even with Covid-19 making things difficult where we were restricted to video consults, she gave us ample time, listened to our each & every query and resolved the same. Her plan of action for ahead was always very specific and clear. She answered all my questions regarding delivery in these difficult times and my options with so much patience. Ultimately, she gave me my twin rainbow baby boys at 36 weeks completely healthy. The entire team at Fortis, Shalimar Bagh took great care of us during our stay in the hospital and put our fears to rest about negative hospital experiences we were listening to all these times. Dr. Uma and her entire team deserves a big thumbs up and is highly recommended for anyone who wishes to have a positive and smooth pregnancy and get their little one(s) home safe and healthy. I first met her in Max Hospital during the initial days of my pregnancy & there we came to know that she is moving to another hospital Fortis.

The first interaction confirmed, i want to stick to this doctor, as i wanted my pregnancy full of positivity.

She is so friendly, positive and speaks with you with her heart out.

I adore her completely. Even if u have any complications in your pregnancy she will not make you nervous but will guide you and will share all the possible outcome in advance but with utmost care and calmness.

Even post pregnancy checkup , i feel like i am on to her with lot of concerns but she is too lovable and caring who will want her patients to be at ease & safe in all situations

Dr. Uma is such a wonderfull nd cheerfull person.... no matter with what problem you visit her.....she will just laugh at you in such a positive way that make u think twice is it really a problem?? :p She makes you soo comfortable nd understands every bit of you...i went to her for my pre pregnancy councelling ,full pregnancy duration nd post delivery.....She is so humble nd energetic..even if i feel down sometimes..talking to her boosts evrything up.... i will highly recommend evry1 reading this..atleast visit her once... aage apne aap jaoge.. :)..SUCH A STUNNER

I personally cannot recommend a doctor better than Uma ma'am , I had PCOD and conceived after a long wait of 3years on clomid after having suffered a blighted Ovum and a chemical pregnancy.. I was paranoid and scared through out my pregnancy but the moment I entered her OPD, her cheerful , chirpy and bubbly disposition ,her smile and her full of life energetic presence used to put all my fears at rest. I used to have a long list of questions to ask but just being there with her used to put all my fears and doubts at rest. I never believed that I was capable of having a normal delivery but all thanks to her I had a completely natural and normal delivery without epidural. I know where I am going if I ever plan to have a second child and she sure is the doctor I would recommend to all my friends and family who are planning to conceive.

No words can justify how awesome she is. All i would say is, twins - normal delivery - both happy and healthyMoreover she always suggests the best course of action ahead.money is never her priority, the way she works, you can see thay money is just a residue of her work.her real satisfaction is her patients.friendly, witty (in a great way), charismatic and just awesome.

She is an excellent dr. Very friendly and considerate towards her patients. She has a very good knowledge of her field and recommends best treatment for her patients. I was very scared about my pregnancy and delivery but she navigated me expertly, so that I had a normal delivery. I unreservedly recommend her. She is best gynaecologist you can get. Genuinely concerned about her patients.

Treatment with Dr. Uma is such a wonderful experience that I never had thought about. She has enormous patience, experience and confidence to deal with even typical medical cases of pregnancy.
