OCD Treatment (suffering since 2016 , taking treatment from DMC since 2019)I feel really sad because I have been going to Delhi Mind clinic,karol bagh for almost 1 year and I was getting comfortable with Dr. Sugandha Gupta but, I had a breakdown due to some life's circumstances so I got depressed and missed her sessions and skipped medicines but when I told her she talked to me rudely. Somehow, this behaviour of the Doctor had put me into more depression.Then, they suggested me Dr. Asmita, I took her 2 sessions , one in the clinic and one online. So far, I liked her as a doctor but then when I took her appointment for the third session online(due to Covid-19 crisis),I wasn't well and fell asleep on the day of my session since I was going through severe depression and wasn't able to attend it. When I woke up and contacted the receptionist half an hour later of the time of my session, the receptionist said,"you have missed the session,now you will be charged for the missed session and that is the policy."But dear ,I was never informed about this policy for online sessions. How do you expect me to remember all your policies? Its your duty to tell that beforehand. And surely, you can apply whatever policy you have to but I am saying why the receptionist didn't inform me about this missed session payment policy online? I paid the whole amount and then also she asked me to be charged for my missed session.Now I am not taking any sessions at your clinic and I have asked for my refund.My mother and sister were also very disappointed with this kind of behaviour.And I am going to share my reviews with my friends and relatives too, very disappointed *** ******* **** ************ *** ****** **** ****** **** *** ** ********** **** ***** ***** ** ** **** ** ************ ***** ******* ** ******* ***** *** *** **** **** **** ***********

Hello Ma'am, Thank you for sharing your concerns. However , we would like to present some facts before you. 1. It is foremost the effort of a doctor to ensure patients well being. As mentioned by you, if the doctor was assertive and directive regarding your medication schedule it was only to reinforce the seriousness of your Illness and emphasizing the role of medication in the same. 2. Therapy was recommended to you in view of your illness. The therapy was a part of treatment plan for you and an option decided after a detailed discussion with you. 3. The guidelines for booking therapy sessions , prepayment, rescheduling and cancellation policies are well informed to each patient in written before any commitment or demand is made. We have the same form signed by you, a copy of which was sent on your personal number yesterday itself. Hence, stating that you were not informed of the rules is false.The assumption that the rules would not apply for online sessions is an assumption made on your own because if a patient chooses to shift their sessions online for their own safety concerns wherein the therapist remains same, the duration of session and charges remain same, then it cannot be that the rules would not remain the same. 4. Your appointment was confirmed and an intimation of the same was sent to you twice-24 hours prior to the scheduled session and 4 hours prior as well,both the times acknowledged by you. 5. The therapy norms of prebooking, rescheduling and cancellation policies are an international practice that are set down for patient's ease and benefit. 6. Please realize the time allocated to a patient with a therapist is kept exclusively for the therapy session. Hence any sudden cancellation or non attendance without a timely intimation means that the professional time of therapist is left unutilized and no other patient who could have utilized this slot can avail the same. 6. Despite all the above, when you reached out to the staff for a refund, you were intimated by the therapist that the same can be discussed in subsequent session and necessary amends be made. However, you sent threatening and intimidating messages of posting bad reviews everywhere and maligning the clinic which is disappointing and irresponsible to say the least. 7. Lastly, please do note that your entire amount was refunded 24 hours prior to this review was posted online. Which we would strongly reiterate that the refund was done as per your request on compassionate grounds. 8. Delhi Mind Clinic strives to provide help to people. Your issues were attended to personally and entire amount was refunded well in time. However threatening and intimidating for maligning the clinic and doctors and therapists despite the best efforts being made to rectify any issues is uncalled for. Lastly, we at Delhi Mind Clinic, wish you the best of health and hope you find a doctor and therapist better suited to your needs. Thank you.

Hi, I visited Dr. Sugandha after finding her name on internet. I was recently through a very nasty breakup, and was suffering from anxiety, anger issues, and depression. I was on the verge of self destruction, and had tried to punish myself for all that had happened around me. However meeting dr. Sugandha was a life changing experience for me. She was so calm and composed, that it started to rub on me. Her calmness and manner of explaining things to me was very nice. Now that I have recovered, I am highly thankful to my doctor. Does not give too many medication, and focused on me as a person rather than as a "subject" or a "patient". Highly recommended for mental health care from my side.

I was having difficulty in concentrating while studying because of the recent events in my life.

When I visited Dr. Gupta for the first time her polite and understanding nature made me a lot more comfortable while explaining her about my problems.

Dr. Gupta doesn't rush through her sessions and listens to you very patiently. What surprised me the most was that how she was able to pinpoint the reasons of issues I was facing without even I emphasising on them.

Our marriage had been on the rocks for a significant duration. The stress and strain of everyday life had been getting hard to bear. We were quarreling over trivial matters almost daily. However as a final hope we visited Dr. Sugandha Gupta, who helped us get our marriage back to track and she breathed life into our marriage. My wife was given short term medication and both of is attended weekly sessions with the doctor. Her intervention has really saved our marriage. I would definitely recommend Dr. Sugandha for her non judgemental attitude and genuineness while giving advice.. She definitely is the best in her care of patients.
