Dr. S. K. Singh, M.S. (Ayurveda), B.H.U. is one of India's most outstanding Ksharsutra consultant, is a post graduate in Ayurvedic surgery from B.H.U., India's premier Institute of Ayurveda. He has been associated with Moolchand Hospital, Delhi, Khosala Hospital, Delhi, Saroj Hospita, Delhil etc, as Senior Surgical Specialist of Ayurveda. He is the director of Sushruta Ano-rectal Institute (Pvt. Ltd.) providing super specialized treatment for fistula, fissure, piles & pilonidal sinus and is also head of department for Ano rectal diseases and Ksharsutra Therapy at Maharishi Ayurveda Hospital Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. Dr. Singh has done extensive research in Kshara-Sutra Therapy for more than a decade and has established the concept of graded Kshara-Sutra, for this reason, Sushruta Ano rectal Institute is one of the place to treat Fistula in Ano and Pilonidal sinus. Dr. Singh has lectured on Kshara-Sutra Therapy & Ayurvedic education programme in various national & international workshops & conferences. His research work- "Role of Kshara-sutra treatment in the cases of milk fistula" has been published in the journal of research in Ayurveda & Sidha under CCRAS Government of India.Dr. Singh is a Gold Medalist from Delhi University & is a member of National Academy of Ayurveda, Ministry of Health, Govt. of India. He was awarded 'Man of the decade celebration' a prestigious award by faculty of Ayurveda Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Dr. S K Singh has been honoured with Ayurvedic Surgeon award 2005 by Union Health Minister govt. of India, Doctor of the year award by D A V Research society New Delhi in 2012, Arch of Excellence award by All India Achievers Forum New Delhi and Excellence in Ayurveda for Ksharsutra Chikitsa (Ano Rectal Diseases) 2018 by ministry of AYUSH.
