Dr. S. Ghatak

Very polite and humble to talk to. He has a good understanding of his domain and went over the board to help us understand the basics of a child's eating plan. Never shies away from giving extra time to any patient when needed. I recommend Dr. S. Ghatak for your child's health.

I never had too much of faith in doctors today especially after hearing about how they administer unnecessary tests/ medication/ even operations to a patient just to increase the hospital's revenues. And extra/ over-medication in case of a child can be extremely dangerous. But Dr. Ghatak was just the opposite. A calm/ soothing, re-assuring gentleman, he listened patiently to my wife recounting my baby son's illnesses. He also prescribed the right medicines for my son and in the right amounts too. No unnecessary over-dosage of medicines for my son - we found out that he also doesn't believe in over-prescribing too many medicines for a patient. My son got cured in due time and from that time onward (a few months back),he's become the doctor we turn to for our son.

Dr. Ghatak is an experienced professional and has lots of patience. He is one of those doctors who do not belief in treating a child with lots of antibiotics. His treatment takes time but eventually it helps the child. My 6 year old son has a constant problem of allergic cough, cold accompanied with fever. Dr. Ghatak's medicines have helped him a lot. Initially we used to visit him almost every quarter but now visits have come down which is a positive sign. He explains the medicines properly and is also available over phone whenever required.

Doc is very nice, by listening our problem he suggested all the practical ways rather than on complete dependence on medicine. Which I liked it much, because being parent what we do for our child is not always correct,sometimes we need to change our parenting logics as per child behaviour. Anyways thanks doc for guiding us well. We can see changes in just 15days in my child.

Horrible is the best description. A simple bout of vomiting due to possible indigestion was declared as a serious stomach infection with heavy dosage of Oflox 3 times a day.My son aged 2 instead of recovering from this condition worsened within 36 hrs after starting Dr.Ghatak medicines. It is only after stopping Dr.Ghatak medicines on advice of another doctor that my son recover.

He is a very arrogant and dismissive doctor who treats empirically without understanding the symptoms.

I found him also very unfriendly towards children where in instead of comforting the child he seemed aloof and scary to an already sick child.

Also considering his poor diagnosis skill his expertise as a paediatrician is doubtful as per me.

I would request all parents who meet him do so after taking a second opinion as following his line of treatment only may cure your child in the short term but would cause irreparable damage to his body in the long run.

His prescription always helped my child to recover faster. His way of explaining is easy to relate and understand.

Excellent for both my kids since the age of their vaccination starting time till 17 year we have full trust on him and very happy with the doctor

Dr. Ghatak is a good doctor. He explains everything very well before giving medicine. He also listens carefully and most importantly* ** ********* **** *********** ********* **** *****

Very professional, on time, no waiting. The clinic is clean and tidy. Doctor Ghatak gave ample amount of time to explain the issue and offered advice and suggestions for overall health of my kid. I would definitely recommend him.

Visited for vaccination. Decent doc, did good routine check up of my baby. Booked for 10 am, didnt have to wait at clinic.
