Dr. Rwituja Thomas

Dr. Rwituja Thomas Grover is an almunus of the prestigious St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. She graduated in 2015 after being adjudged the Best Outgoing Student, won the Best MBBS Student award in 2013 and holds a university rank in Ophthalmology. She completed her Residency and Fellowship in Orbit, Oculoplastics and Ocular Oncology from the reputed Narayana Nethralaya Eye Institute, Bangalore. She has presented several papers at national and international conferences such as Asia Pacific Association of Cataract and Refractive surgeons (APACRS) and the World Congress of Ocular Trauma (WCOT). She has published her research in peer-reviewed journals such as the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology (IJO). She is the recipient of the Bayer Grant from the Global Ophthalmology Awards Program in conjunction with the GROW Research Laboratory at Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. She has won awards at the state and national level for her work in the field of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and was adjudged the Best Postgraduate Teacher of Tomorrow (TOT) at the Karnataka state conference. She has been awarded the esteemed Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO).
