I had know Dr Ravi bansal since 2011 when I had gone to his residential clinic due to hypertension.Actually I was looking for nephrologist on internet when I came to know about him ( he has a website with 24 hr helpline for any kind of need for kidney patient) to I wrote to him regarding my hypertension and to my surprise he responded back within few hrs on my mail.I got immediately attracted towards this Doctor who despite not knowing me responded at such a short duration. So, I visited his residential clinic and was impressed by his knowledge, and concern and within 2-3 days my BP was back to normal with very less number of drugs. Later on in August 2018 , I was diagnosed with end stage renal disease with high level of creatinine (27) and I thought of taking his view regarding my disease as no symptom other than high creatinine was visible in my case.He very strongly recommended me to directly go for admission at the hospital and suggested to call my wife and family to the hospital as my condition was critical.Although I seemed to differ from his view and didn't go for admission.Instead I went to home and informed my wife and we opted for trying for ayurvedic/homeopathic treatment (as so many websites were claiming with patient videos for treating CKD without dialysis or transplant).Although the amount they were asking for one month course was so high that it made us suspicious and we opted for getting second opinions at other hospitals ( like Batra, medanta) and they also said the same thing which Dr Bansal was saying and finally we came in contact of Dr V K Kakkar ( homeopathic doctor with true medical principles) who clearly said that no other treatment other than allopathy is going to help me and we should repeat the tests a second time and if reports come same as earlier we should strictly follow what Doctor bansal is saying. We get the tests done and reports were same as earlier. We called Doctor Bansal stating that we are going to admit at hospital and he recognized me due to my high creatinine level. When we reached the hospital he had already informed the emergency regarding my case and was waiting for us to reach the hospital. Thus saved ours a lot of time and the treatment was started , I was put on hemodialysis and he strongly recommended to go for kidney transplant due to my younger age and the benefits of transplant over dialysis both to me, and my family. He explained all the pros and cons of both dialysis and transplant to us and to decide what approach we should take.Going by his explaination both me and my family opted to go for renal transplant. Every time I visited him for follow-up before transplant he was very cordial, and treated me as if I am not a patient so that I will not take any pressure of the surgery ( as general Indian population is afraid of surgery and that too transplant surgery).Everytime Dr Bansal told me that over the years Medical science has progressed and procedures like Dialysis and Transplant surgery have become very safe, patient compliance and are like any normal minor surgical procedures although we have to just take the necessary precautions for few days to lead a normal healthy life.I was finally operated for for transplant by Dr PP Singh ( URO team) which works in coordination with Dr Ravi bansal , the surgery was successful and I was discharged after seven days with all the blood and kidney parameters coming to normal value. Before discharge Dr Bansal clearly told me all the precautions needed for avoiding the rejection chances and even told me wife that I am no longer a patient and should be treated as normal healthy being who require a little extra care for fast and speedy recovery. Its almost a month and I am feeling a lot more energetic and hope to join my lab soon. In the end I will conclude by thanking Dr Bansal and all the members at PSRI hospital especially URO team, dialysis personnel, security guards, and nursing staff who have helped and cared a lot like family members during my treatment and follow-ups at PSRI hospital. THANK YOU so much Dr Ravi Bansal for all what you had done for me to go back to normal life ( altough its a little early) and I know sooner or later I will be recovering fully and live a healthy life with all the precautions needed.

Hoped for better: Explanation of the health issueValue for money
Few months back, I made an emergency visit to Dr Ravi Bansal's clinic, as I had severe pain in the left kidney area and abdomen with episodes of nausea and vomiting. This was the first time in my life that I had such pain in the kidney area with constant vomiting. I knew something was wrong and I visited him immediately as that was the nearest nephrologist clinic near my place. That day and the next day Delhi had received heavy downpour, but I managed to reach his clinic alone in the evening despite of the rains. His first reaction was 'you need not have come on such a rainy day'. But I knew how much pain I was going through (a pain that is similar to a labor pain). He advised for some tests and medicines that day. I went back to him with the test results and he did not review my ultrasound report ********* On that rainy day he told me 'go back home' there is nothing to worry. He said its a small cyst and hence no medicines are required. He neglected the report neither did he review the scan image of the ultrasound. *** ********** **** * ***** **** ** ** ******* ** * ****** **** * *** ******* ******* ** ***** ****** *** ******** *** **** **** I had to visit the emergency ward of another hospital. *** ** ****** ****** ***** **** ****** ** **** *** ******** ** ***** **** ******* I went helter skelter and visited all the top hospitals in Delhi and I also referred few doctors from other parts of India. *** *** ******* **** **** *** **** ****** *** ** ** ******* ** *** **** ** *** **** *** ********** **** **** **** ** **** **** ***** **** ***** *** **** ****** ** * ***** **** ******* **** * ****** ******** All of them saw my first ultrasound image(the report/image which Dr Ravi Bansal ignored) *** **** ******** ** **** *** *** *** * ***** ***** ***** *** ***** * ******** **** ***** ****** **** **** ******* ************ ** ***** **** ** **** ****** ***** *** **** **** ****.
