Dr. Rashmi Sama

I came across Dr. Rashmi Sama through Practo & word of mouth for Sama Hospital for my sinus, breathlessness and cough issues. She was patient enough to listen my symptoms, suggested not only medications but also gave a long term solution without medicines. One rarely meets such a doctor. The diagnosis, treatment and suggestions were on point.

I had a good experience since she explained to me what was causing my throat pain and also the medicines she gave me got me better in a couple of days. All doctors make you wait. But it's worth the wait if the doctor is well qualified and genuinely interested in the well being of its patients.

**** ****** ***** I visited Dr. Rashmi's residence for consultation for the problem of prolong dry coughing. However, in few minutes of QnA she moved my case to sleep apnea. I am working mother of 10 month old which naturally leads to stress and less sleep.

Rest of the full conversation revolved around how sleep apnea can impact me like getting a heart attack.

Without considering my medical history, she continuously made efforts to make me believe that I am an undiagnosed patient of sleep apnea and should go through with sleep tests. Even she prescribed me nasal spray to treat something which I don't have at all like blocked nose or sinus.

Asking about cause of my sever coughing, she asked me to get X Ray and PFT reports and prescriber anti-allergic. She even did not bother to check type of sound coming from my chest for diagnosis.

Her whole focus was on sleep related expensive tests.
