Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma Presently Chairman, Institute of Adult Reconstruction, Sports Injury & Joint Replacement Vimhans Primamed Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi. He has been associated with Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi as Senior Consultant Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement Surgeon since 1998-2016. He has been associated with All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi as Senior faculty 1992-1998. He has been active in academic & teaching activities. Has delivered 261 lectures in various national and International conferences & meetings. He has organized 25 scientific conferences so far. He has been involved with primary & revision arthroplasty of knee & hip, Unicondylar Knee Replacement, Surface hip arthroplasty (BHR), Ceramic on Ceramic Anatomical Head Delta motion THR, Shoulder Arthroplasty and Arthroscopic procedures of Knee (Ligament reconstruction, Meniscal suturing, Menisectomy etc) apart from trauma surgery. He has done over 6000 Total Joint Replacements. He has been a keen user of mobile bearing Total Knee Implants. He has done 1100 mobile bearing knee replacements.He used 650 high flexion knee implants (PFC-RPF & PS-150). He conducted more than 1000 cases of Total Knee Arthroplasty using Computer Navigation. He developed proficiency in minimally invasive Total Knee Arthroplasty with minimal blood loss and excellent pain management. He has started first Bone Bank at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi in 2004.
