Dr. Rajeev Jain is a joint replacement and orthopaedic surgeon in Delhi with 44 years of experience, serving as senior consultant in orthopaedics and joint replacement surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj, and Surya Hospital, Krishna Nagar. He completed his MBBS in 1982 and an MS in Orthopaedics in 1987 at PGIMS, Rohtak, and a postgraduate diploma in hospital and health management from IGNOU in 2005. He is registered with the Delhi Medical Council.He began as registrar at Narinder Mohan Hospital, Ghaziabad, from 1987 to 1991, worked as orthopaedic specialist at the NIOC Hospital of the Ministry of Petroleum in Iran from 1992 to 1995, and was senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Jessa Ram Hospital, Karol Bagh, from 1995 to 2000, Shanti Mukand Hospital, Vikas Marg, from 1996 to 2005 and Metro Hospital and Heart Institute, Noida, from 2000 to 2013. He was guest faculty at the Institute of Physically Handicapped, University of Delhi, from 2014 to 2016, is a past president of the Delhi Orthopaedic Association, chairman of the ethics committee of the Indian Orthopaedic Association and a founder member of the Ghaziabad Orthopaedic Club.His joint work covers knee and hip replacement, hip resurfacing, knee osteotomy, ACL and PCL reconstruction, arthroscopy and cartilage surgery, and his spine practice includes disc prolapse and spondylosis, chemonucleolysis and radiofrequency neurotomy.
