Dr. Rajeev Jain

Dr. Rajeev Jain is the principal Vitreoretina and Uveitis specialist and surgeon at Save Sight Centre. He received his M.B.B.S. from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Delhi. Following this he trained in general ophthalmology surgery (M.S.) at the Guru Nanak Eye Centre associated with MAMC, LNJP and GB Pant hospitals. His thesis was based on age related macular degeneration (ARMD).He has undertaken retinal fellowships at:LV Prasad eye institute, Hyderabad, India,Sydney eye hospital, Sydney, Australia and,Royal Adelaide hospital, Adelaide, Australia.In 2007, he was appointed as clinical lecturer to the University of Adelaide, Australia. Upon return to New Delhi, India in 2009, he joined centre for sight as a retina consultant which he later resigned and finally joined Sharp Sight centres.He is currently the head of vitreoretina and Uvea services at sharp sight centres at pusa road and preet vihar in New Delhi, India.He has written his thesis on Age related macular degeneration (ARMD).He has authored numerous scientific papers in international and national scientific journals, and book chapters in leading textbooks on Vitreoretina Diseases such as wills eye manual for Uveitis. He has been an invited speaker in various national and international scientific meetings.Dr Rajeev Jain practices exclusively in Uveitis, medical and surgical retinal diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, retinal tear and detachment, epiretinal membrane and macular holes etc.
