I visited the doctor for Head & Neck cancer consult.
a) We were made to wait for 20 minutes because he was chit-chatting with colleagues over coffee during our appointment. It shows a lack of professionalism and empathy especially when the cancer patient is also a senior citizen.
b) Too much emphasis on his medical opinion rather than prognosis. d) Didn't ask for our consent before pushing the case to radiology. Ideally, a doctor is supposed to explain the possible options with the pros and cons and let the patient decide.
e)He failed to explain how concurrent radiation *** ***** ********* ***** **** ** boils in the mouth, affect saliva production, hair loss, skin issues, etc. In fact, he assured that CT/RT will provide a better quality of life than surgery. ********* **********
