My husband (Mr. Vaibhav Bist) had booked the appointment from my app. He has penned down his experience with Dr Pankaj Rao.

A few years back, searching for a good doctor in the locality was a difficult task.

Thanks to Practo, it has now become a smooth affair. When I was searching for a dentist on the app , I came across Dr. Pankaj Rao from Oraa Care Smile Dental Clinic whose reviews were positive. Getting impressed by those favourable reviews, I decided to give her a visit for my gum bleeding problem. Even though I was skeptical about a dental visit during corona virus pandemic, I visited her clinic and found it well-managed. The staff ensured that appointments are done in a manner that there is no rush in the reception area, the full body sanitisation, pulse and temperature check were some of the key safety measures which were taken in the clinic. The shoe caps were also provided to make sure that cleanliness is maintained inside the main clinic area. These measures impressed me largely on my first visit. After my first check up, I was advised a deep root cleaning and a deep root canal for one of my tooth. Until today, I have had some four to five sittings with Dr. Pankaj and every single time she made my visit less scary. Because of her sophisticated subtle temperament with an excellent clinical expertise, I can visit her again if any tooth problem further persists.

Unlike other doctors in the area, the cost of dental treatment is absolutely pocket-friendly. To conclude Oraa Care clinic will henceforth be my only choice for all my dental-related problems.

I recommend Dr. Pankaj Rao. The clinic was easy to find and clean, and the staff was patient and helpful. I didn’t have to wait at all, and although the plaque cleaning was a bit expensive, the overall experience was smooth and satisfactory.

I visited the doctor today for my wife and 2 kids.

1. For one of the kid she spent less than 30mins and charged me Rs 5000(4500 for 3 cavities and 500 consultation) and

2. For second kid 2 stains on two teeth were cleaned in less than 10mins and she charged Rs 2000(removing minor stain from 2 teeth + consultation)

3. Then was my wife’s turn for scaling. She asked Rs. 4000 for one session but my wife refused to get the scaling done ** *** ******* ****** *** ******* *** **** ***** ******** ** ******* ********* ******** And when she wrote the consultation she first wrote 4000 for 3 scaling sessions and the overwrite it with 4000 for 2 scaling sessions. *** ** ***** **** ** *** ************* **********

I did not understand this high fees for the most regular teeth treatment where she charged me Rs 7500 for spending less than 40mins on two kids(5yrs and 3 yrs). ***** **** ** ******** **** ******* ** **** ******* ** ******* ********* ** ** ***** ****** ****** ******* ******

Started my treatment after wait of one hour from the time of appointment. I had a cavity in my tooth. She did filling n said if there's any pain, come for RCT.

N I was shocked, if such was the case why didn't she go for RCT in the first place. I asked her so n her reply was another shock.. "you said so"

Yes ofcourse I said so, with stuff in my mouth she's asking me what I would like to be done with my tooth, without explaining anything, which a professional doctor does.

After doing filling, then she's explaining (that too on my questioning) that you should have gone for RCT.

She should have explained the case first n should have guided me to the better treatment for me rather than putting words in my mouth n then blaming it all on me.

Had I known all the things, I would not have consulted a doctor.

So if anyone wants to take her services please be thorough of your problem n its solution, she'll do as u say... *** ***** ** **** ** ***** ****

At the very outset, let me thank all the patients who have visited and experienced the skill of Dr Mrs Pankaj Rao and written a wonderful comments which facilitated me to take decision on visiting and experiencing the wonderful experience.

My previous experience with one of the dentist dwarka Modh was quite painful and disturbing, I had developed some sought of phobia however when again I was required to do RCT I was searching a good dentist and all the reviews written by customers helped me to choose one. The visit to doctor itself is very pleasing; Dr Mrs Pankaj Rao makes the customer feel comfortable and resolves all the queries that might come to your mind. No unnecessary test or X’ray or medicines like other doctors recommend she is master to her profession and renders Yo man service to her patients.

Today after completion of RCT treatment along with crowning, when I look back on the experience I would rate the same above seven stars and best doctor in Dwarka and around. She promised me painless treatment and the promise stayed all around the cost was also very reasonable as compared to most of dentist in an around dwarka. One thing is very sure now that I know Dr Mrs Pankaj Rao for all my family dental needs I would request Dr Mrs Pankaj Rao Orra Care Smile dental Clinic to take care of the same.

I was undergoing RCT for my tooth at some other dentist who initially claimed my tooth can be saved only by RCT, but in the middle of treatment after few seating’s and after charging 4k, they informed me, my tooth cannot be saved due to deep infection (persistence of cyst) and have to undergo tooth implant, only option left, which would cost me another 22k~24k.

So before I invest another 22k, I had visited Dr. Pankaj Rao for seeking a second opinion whether tooth implant is the only option left for me!! Or my tooth can be saved by RCT.

After thorough examining, Dr. Pankaj Rao assured me there is no need for tooth implant at this stage and my tooth can be easily saved, she explained the infection (i.e. cyst) was due to improper cleaning of roots and it’s not any major problem, so I decided to continue my further treatment by Dr. Pankaj Rao. I found her treatment at Oraa Care clinic was much advanced, modern, more hygenic then my previous treatment, even the charges (fees) were nominal.

Now it’s been more than 2weeks since my RCT was completed and I have not found any issue of infection (cyst) and it seems completely fine to me.
