Dr. Nishith Chandra, MD, DM, FSCAI (USA) has more than 31 Years of experience at the prestigious Fortis Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi, India. He is a Principal Director in Interventional Cardiology here and deals with all sorts of complex Coronary, Carotid, Renal, and Peripheral Interventions. His main strength is doing image based coronary interventions, with the help of Intra Vascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography ( OCT). These enhances the safety and long term outcomes of angioplasty and stent procedures. In addition he is expert in using advanced techniques like LASER angioplasty, Rota Blation, Orbital Atherectomy, and IntraVascular Lithotripsy to treat heavily calcified difficult to treat lesions.
