Here’s my story:

On August 15, 2024, while flying a kite, I accidentally sliced my finger with the kite thread. I got local first aid and dressing for the wound. However, after 10 days, when the wound seemed to heal, I noticed that I was unable to curl the upper joint of my finger (the DIP joint). Concerned, I began researching and discovered that this was likely due to a tendon tear. To make matters worse, I also couldn’t feel sensations in certain parts of my finger, which pointed to potential ulnar nerve damage.

I consulted a nearby doctor and got an MRI done. The results confirmed a complete tear of the tendons, and surgery was the only way to regain function. This news was distressing, and I started exploring the best hand surgeons in Delhi NCR. I visited several prominent hospitals in Noida but didn’t get much assurance from the doctors.
