So, this is the kind of modern day medical (financial) nightmare that one can have.
My mom had this severe knee pain & I searched for a ortho around me & landed at a super specialty hospital . Having reached the hospital I was directed to Dr. Monu as the doctor (Senior/HOD) I wanted to consult was too busy. We paid the consultation charges for the senior doctor "X".
Dr. Monu asked for a MRI scan to be done & on seeing the MRI films (report not yet available) suggested * ******** procedures with words like the bone is dead/things look far more bad than anticipated.
Scared I wanted to meet the senior doctor for whom we had originally came. The hospital was quick to accept the request & we went for a discussion with him. Meanwhile, Dr. Monu leaves for a discussion with the Radiology team. Dr. Monu comes back & tells us to meet us once the report is available.
