Dr. Mathew Varghese

It was really a blessing to have found Dr. Verghese for getting our son's club foot treated. At first we visited all top private hospitals but were very upset with their way of manhandling a newborn. They were least bothered if the child cried or was in pain. Both Apollo and Sitaram Bhartia hospitals insisted on giving general anasthesia to a month old baby for the tenotomy procedure. And while usually safe, the doctors agreed there was a small chance that things could go wrong with such a small child. At last we found Dr Verghese through online research. Initially skeptical, we decided to take our son to St. Stephen's hospital. Dr. Verghese was totally different from the earlier doctors we met. For the first time I was comfortable giving my baby in his hands. He was very gentle, calm, comforting even when he was extremely busy.He saw my father standing with my 1 month old son waiting in the queue and he called us in to see us ahead of the queue. Since then the entire treatment was overseen by Dr. Verghese, including the tenotomy under local anasthesia which was a huge relief to us. Our son is 6 now and he runs and plays like there never was anything wrong with his foot.Thank you Dr. Verghese.PS: Also, huge thanks to the assistant who would perform the plasters so carefully that my baby never cried.

The doctor is a cheerful wonderful man with positive spirit and expertise in his field. I trust his judgements and that's why I waited for hours outside to meet him. But the crowd is too much inside the waiting room there is no privacy and patient time. He is quick to grasp but in the dim of the crowd not able to clarify all the problems and remedies after having waited so long.

Appreciate the doctor handling so many patients at the same time. By the waiting room experience with many patients wanting him to answer their queries is pretty bad and the satisfaction is dimmed down.

However, I have never met a doctor so humble and cheerful enjoying and trying to give attention to all the patients. God bless him.

Other famous doctors gave me up. My parents were in desperate condition. By God's grace we met him. The sugery was impossible, but God loves him, so the sugery was successful. He gave me life. I didn’t mind waiting as Dr. Verghese is so thorough and gets to the bottom of the problem. His manner is so pleasing and it’s so wonderful to talk to a doctor who shows interest in you, explains in great detail and inspires confidence that he will know exactly how to deal with your problem. I was very touched today when I went to show my MRI report to him. He sees the kids first and watching him deal with each I felt he was god for them. My own problem seemed so insignificant and I felt I was probably wasting his precious time even though I do have a definite need to see the doctor. He is like God for my family. Loving kids ..don't want to see children in pain. Very confident about his decision. I visited best hospitals and met best Dr in Gurugram, but bcz of very rear disease my daughter caught, everyone was shocked and was not confident about there treatment.

Please don't bother from waiting time, yes at least 3-4 hr or may be more can b coast to get ur turn to come, but that is worth full. ** ** *****

Dr. Mathew is a an angel sent by God for his patience. Despite having 100% success rate************ ****** ** *** ****** he is such a humble, polite, full of positivity and down to earth person. He always meets his patients with a smile on his face, listens to them carefully, explains the problem and treatment to his patients and their relatives. He answers numerous queries of his patients with utmost patience.He has an answer to all the questions and has all the latest techniques equipments available for rarest of orthopedic problems.Recently during treatment of my daughter got to know that his work starts from 8 in the morning of first day and goes upto 3-4 am of next day. Truly dedicated towards serving his patients he works continuously. Simply an amazing person. May god bless him with health happiness success and lots more...Amen!
