Dr. (Maj Gen) JK Bansal

I live in London and was recently diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism after a blood test done in a local hospital here. This test was advised by my GP based on my symptoms. After this blood test, I wanted to consult not just any endocrinologist, but a real expert and a very experienced Thyroid consultant who could advise me further. While London does have good doctors, sometimes getting a specialist appointment even of a normal endocrinologist (unlike in India) can take months. I was planning to visit India in some connection and requested my brother-in-law who is a doctor himself to identify a very good Thyroid expert for me. Based on his credentials and vast experience in this area he chose Dr J K Bansal.

I visited Dr Bansal at his clinic at a very good location in Vasant Kunj *** *** ****** ********* **** *** **** ******* *********. In no time, he understood the problem, advised me to stop my current medicine and prescribed blood, ultrasound and iodine uptake tests. I saw him again after 2 weeks with the test reports and he gave me a detailed prognosis. Since I was going to be back in London a couple of days later, he advised me how to carry on monitoring the problem going forward.

He is a thorough professional who listens to you patiently and provides an expert advice at a very reasonable fee. He laid to rest all my concerns and answered all my queries very patiently. It would have taken me a good few months in London to obtain an equivalent advice. I remain very thankful to him for his timely help and useful advice.

During a routinr test my TSH was detected very very low along with very high T3 and T4. I was told by Lap assistent that I am suffering from thyroid problem. My family Dr. Suggested me to go for treatment at INMAS, DRDO. While searching details of INMAS I came to know about Maj Gen Dr J K Bansal and who was formally head of Thyroidology at INMAS. I took appointment to meet him at his Vasant Kunj Clinic. Dr J K bansal saw all my reports, physicaly checked me with some medical apparatus and asked few questions. Without no time he diagonosed that I am suffering from Grave disease. He gave me few medicine and suggested me to meet him after one month with few test results. I am in his treatment since last one year and in last one year I meet him only thrice and regularly take medicine doses suggusted by him, I am very happy to share that my thyroid problem has remarkable improvement and the problem is almost vanished. I will say that Dr J K bansal has great experience in treating Thyroid problems. He is a gentleman who listen all my concerns patiently and provide me correct advice and direction. I visited Dr JK Bansal two weeks ago for my thyroid problem. He went out of his way to see me on a very short notice late at night on the same day I called him as I had to leave the city the next day. Well to begin with Dr Bansal is a superstar, he is one of the most caring compassionate doctors I have met . I had been taking hypothyroid / TSH medicines for the last 4 years but it wasn't coming in control .. The other doctors I had consulted had long lists of what to avoid eating which I was never happy about.

I got to know about Dr. Bansal through practo .. I read a review online and instantly booked my appointment . He was caring he told me not to worry and told me I could eat anything I wanted to .. My medications were changed and within 3 weeks my tsh which was 8.3 a day before I had met him miraculously came down to .09 .

I feel a lot happier and quality of life has tremendously increased.

All thanks to the Superstar Doctor not only my TSH is in check but I can eat everything that I want to :) his positive attitude , assurance and just one line "don't stress about anything " made a lot of difference to my life . Some doctors tend to scare you a lot by telling you a million things that have gone wrong with you and probably can go wrong But Dr Bansal only reassured me that everything will be great . He is never in hurry attends the patient very patiently you can ask him as many questions as you want.. Getting his appointment is very easy fees is very very nominal. . All in all he is terrific ! I can't recommend him any higher !
