Had gone to get my tooth capping fixed by him which he had worked on before. He had done a root canal treatment after which he had fixed a cap which costed me 4000 Rs. On telling him my tooth cap had fallen off more than a month back, he laughed and said you are suppose to get it fixed within a week after it falls off. Its like he already assumes that the patients are suppose to know about this. He also informed me that capping keeps falling off like it a normal thing and i will have to get a new capping done by him. By this time the conversation had already gotten heated up with him. Finally when he decided on trying to put the same capping back he said he could fix it and he also said the just because i am a SIKH he is helping me. By this time he was already working on my tooth when he made this statement. I just told him i want to get my work done and get out of here. Finally he fixed it and i payed him his fees of 300 Rs.

The funny part about this is before i could reach home the capping fell off again and my house is a 10 min walk from his clinic. On confronting him about this he told me he cannot fix it because my other teeth are pushing it out. By this time there were only heated conversation going on in which he tried to teach me English too. He told me then to leave his clinic to which i told him that you fix my teeth and i will leave because i had payed 300 rupees for the sitting already. To which he took out the money and told me to take it. Just for the record i have got the same capping fixed by another dentist and it hasn’t fallen off till now.

So i will like to conclude by thankingyou for giving me such an experience. Nothing is lost or gained here apart from my time and money. There is an intense lack of professionalism at the clinic and most importantly the lack of respect to be given to patients. I am very glad i got my tooth cap fixed from another dentist as it was impossible for him to fix in his words.
