I am happy to say that you rarely see such a great doctor who is thorough in his field. Dr Kamal Dureja has a unique quality as he first examines the patient patiently and then starts taking the briefings about the problem (s) and then with his wast knowledge he predicts the ailment which is rarely seen now a days as most of the Doctors first want to see the report to make it short. Seeing his dedication and convincing personality, you easily get convinced for surgery. *** **** *** ***** ** ** ** **** ******** ******* ******** When he first saw me, he said it was just a small arthroscopic surgery, with no major cuts, and that I would be able to walk within one week.

I consulted Dr. Kamal Dureja for a foot-related issue over multiple visits. While the consultations were conducted professionally, ** ******** ********* *** *** ********** ********* *** *** ******* ********** ****** **** ********************* I sought a second opinion and underwent an MRI, which revealed with a partial tear, along with an osteochondral issue of the talus. **** ******** * ********* *** **** ******** ********* ********.

SMy brother wife was feeling pain in her right arm since last 1 month. We ve taken appointment of Dr. Kamal Dureja (Sr. Orthopedic Surgeon) of Max Hospital Saket and Dr. Dureja prescribed his wife few medicines for her wrist for a week.

Our Mental harassment started the moment we visited to the private clinic (South City Medicentre) of Dr. Kamal Dureja after 7days. Dr. Dureja just took an X-ray and informed me that hia wife has cancer and it is not easy to be treated. Dr Dureja was so confident without any test, sharing it to him. He had no clue and sat on the floor with tears in eyes but he asked him to get admitted his wife to Max hospital Saket for MRI and some other tests next morning.

His wife had wrist problem and X-ray department took x-ray of chest. When his wife informed, nurse told “she don’t have information from doctor”.

Just for the MRI and blood test, Max hospital Saket asked us stay 2days (11th -12th May 2016) in hospital and given estimate of INR 50,000. After spending 10hrs MRI was done and blood test but no clue of report, next morning oncologist visited and informed it is not cancer.

Max hospital took next full day for the discharge process and sent details to wrong email id of medical insurance company (Cholamandalam health Insurance). And insurance company rejected because only MRI and blood test was not required 2days hospitalization. Max hospital purposely admitted us to make money and even Dr. Dureja never visited to wife during 2days of stay. Finally 12th May evening, got discharged my wife after paying INR 25,000.

He was in mental trauma for 2nights just because of the wrong diagnosis of Dr. Kamal Dureja and Max hospital harassed like anything. Nobody was ready responsibility I was feeling like arrested by hospital management and cannot go out of hospital until insurance company settle the amount.

This kind of ill treatment we never expected from a hospital like Max hospital Saket. Now we are clueless about next treatment of my wife.

I had online (by telephone) consult with Dr. Kamal Dureja--not in person--although it felt like it. I chose him because of his impressive credentials, and his specialization in foot and ankle orthopedics with many decades of experience. Also, from his positions he is clearly respected by his peers--other doctors--this means a lot to me. Dr. Dureja listened to my concern, asked relevant questions, and gave excellent and much appreciated advice. It was clear to me that I was speaking with an experienced expert and felt fortunate to be able to take advantage of his knowledge and expertise. He was not at all in a hurry and I was able to ask all of my questions with answers and guidance to my satisfaction. He left our conversation open ended informing me that if I had any follow-up questions, I could contact him--this was very reassuring and appreciated. Dr Kamal Dureja is a very warm and compassionate doctor. He goes to the root cause of the problem n gives least medicines. He didn't even ask me to get any scans done, unlike other doctors who first ask you to get tests done. Would strongly recommend him.

I have never experienced such irresponsible doctor, diagnosed cancer for my wrist pain. Xray zoomed and shown it to my husband and told it is cancer. Until oncologist conformed after 2 days, my full family was in mental trauma.

He also advised to get admitted in max and just MRI test got done, discharged after 36hrs for d sake money.

Please think 100 times before taking appointment
