I recently visited Dr J. Maheshwari for diagnosis of persistent shoulder pain. His assessment was spot-on and the treatment that followed was smooth and effective. From the initial consultation through to recovery, Dr Maheshwari and his team were completely supportive every step of the way. With over 40 years of expertise handling knee and shoulder issues in Delhi, he really is in a class of his own. I am thoroughly satisfied and would highly recommend him for any shoulder or knee-related concern.

I visited Dr. Maheshwari in 2018 for my right knee pain treatment, when I was 65 years old. He advised me to go for a Partial Knee replacement. In simple terms - The knee has 3 parts - Inner, Outer, and Cap. If one part is replaced then It is called Partial Replacement (UKT). I was apprehensive so visited a couple of renowned doctors in Gurgaon, who suggested Total Knee Replacement(TKT). Dr. Maheshwari's suggestion was that if 2 parts of your knee are ok then why replace it? Took a chance and got my Partial Knee Replacement done in 2018 when he was at Max Saket. In the last 5 years, my right knee has worked well - Did lots of trekking in the Mountains.

This year my Left knee started giving me trouble while trekking in the Himalayas.

Decided to go back to him in April. The team - Dr. Maheshwari, Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Nitin, and Pramila has now moved to Sita Ram Bhartia. Again his suggestion was to go for Partial Knee Replacement of the Left knee. Got operated on 2nd May, Discharged from Hospital on 4th May, and walked to my car with little assistance from my wife.

3 Specific things, I like about him and his team : (1) Dr Maheshwari performs critical part of the operation and is always available to provide advice and help (2) Dr Nitin, Pain management expert does not let you cry in pain - he is the best (3) Dr Ahmed, Makes sure that you are doing well post operation and are charged the right amount.

Lastly, Pramila and her team make sure you are well-informed about the next step and connect quickly in case of urgency.

After 3 Weeks of operation, I am walking without any assistance and not taking any pain killer- the beauty of Partial Replacement.

My son developed shoulder problem a year back . Ever since I had to make multiple rounds to different doctors . None of the doctor gave clarity and to make matters worse they started saying my son needs anti depressants . It’s Dr Maheshwari who handled the situation with not only his medical expertise but also with grace and kindness . He’s very few of those doctors who make us vouch that doctor is next to god . As a fellow professional I knew Dr. Maheshwari for over two decades. For long I’ve come to admire his professional opinion. This was the first time I saw him as a patient. He was punctual to the dot. He did a thorough physical examination after a detailed history taking. After perusing the investigations and the lab reports he gave an unambiguous opinion. My daughter accompanied me as the attendant. He patiently explained to her my problem, and what was needed to be done in lay terms.

As a person I find Dr. Maheshwari a cheerful and affable soul. One can sense sincerity and transparency as he interacts. Another great asset of him is his team of dedicated medical and paramedical personnels- Dr. Nitin Bahl, Dr. Ahmad, Dr. Rashi, Ms Pramila Lakra, and Mr. Akash to name a few. Very very bad experience with the doctor.

Firstly I was told that i had the appointment on monday which was after 2 days. When i feached the clinic, I was told that my appointment was 15 days later on a monday and that i was wrong, even when i repeatedly confirmed before taking the appointment as i was in a lot of discomfort.

After that somehow the doctor jitendra agreed to meet the same day. I had got the MRI and everything done and in the MRI report also the issue was mentioned.

I was ailing with the issue since more than 4 weeks, and after seeing the reports doctor said there is nothing and asked me to rest for 1 more week. When i said i have been doing that already for 4 weeks, he said he has no idea what has happened to me and that i should wait 15 more days and do nothing. If problem still persists then he will arrange a meeting of 3-4 doctors special meet where they will all examine me ** ** ******** ********* *********

He was recommended to me by an amazing doctor and I had high expectations but he just turned out to be completely opposite to that.

I have been having knee problems for some years and was advised bilateral total knee replacement but was sceptical to have surgery done till I found a doctor who could relieve me of my fears of this procedure. Well, this was for my wife. She (46 yrs then) used to suffer from constant pain on her both knees.We consulted an ortho specialist (not taking his name) who opined that both her knees were severely damaged and needed TKR. An wise person suggested us to have a second opinion. So we went to Sitaram Bharatiya Instt. of Science and Research, Delhi and happened to have a chance consultation with this Dr. He rubbished the claim of the previous Dr. and advised UKR only on one knee (right) and he only performed the operation. After post operation physiotherapy, it was a 100% success.

She developed same problem on her left knee after 3 years in 2015. Dr. Saab conducted UKR in this too. In this case the success was 90%. Dr. called us on 4 Sep 17 for free consultation at his clinic. As per him the less 10% may be due the nature of complication not similar to that of the right knee. Overall, she is doing fine.

I recommended 7 to 8 patients with similar complications to him. For one lady (60 plus)he conducted TKR on both the knees. She too is doing fine.

It was last year that my nephew fractured his arm and Dr. Maheshwari was suggested by our family Doctor , Dr J. N. Pande .

I was operated upon my both the knees for total knee replacement on 4th March. The operation was performed by Dr Maheshwari nd his team at Max smart super speciality hospital at saket, New Delhi. Surgery went on for approx. 3hrs. It was a painless surgery as I was in safe hands of anesthesiologist Dr Nitin Behl, who gave me the shot of anesthesia. Dr Vikram Mhaskar another surgeon of the team made me so comfortable that even I did not notice that how the time passed away. He is also a leading knee transplant surgeon in the team. The operation was conducted in a jovial atmosphere. Dr Maheshwari also have a list of paramedical staff. Ms promila Lakra who is the hospital secretary to Dr Maheshwari and Ms Manisha who is nursing head in the team were so helpful that even I did not have to rush here & there for my billing at the time of my final discharge. The team has a good & experience physiotherapist by the name of Dr Sonal Bhagat. She looks after the post operative care requirements very well.

I give my sincere thanks to Dr Maheshwari & his team with a wish to achieve many more success in their medical expertise. I would say Dr Maheshwari is not only one of the leading knee transplant surgeons in India but, he is the best.

I had been facing problem with both my knees for quite some time. Over a period of time the problem however grew much more and was recommended to consult a Knee Specialist. I was then asked to go and consult Dr. J Maheshwari at Max Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, without any comprehension, who was recommended to me by one of my son’s friend.

When I first went to Dr.Maheshwari, he put me at ease by explaining why it was required, and the process of Partial Knee Replacement. he also promised me that the whole process would be completely painless. It was.I would be out of the hospital and go home within four days of the surgery. I did.

The operation was personally conducted by Dr.Maheshwari along with his team of experts.
