Dr. Indrani Ganguli

My story goes back about 33 years. We were living in Gulmohar Park, New Delhi and Dr. Ganguli was also living there, but I had not met her or known her. One morning I woke up and started having severe loose motions and stomach pain. My husband had just left for Calcutta, having been transferred recently in his job. My father-in-law was at home and since Dr. Ganguli was close by, went to call her. Dr. Ganguli rushed to our house, did a quick urine check, and after examining me, diagnosed it as a case of ectopic pregnancy where the fallopian tube had burst and I was haemorrhaging. She suggested immediate surgery and I was taken to a nearby hospital in South Extension and operated by her. There was barely any pulse and I was given many units of blood and I was in hospital for several days. I survived. I owe my life to Dr. Ganguli. She only removed one ovary and fallopian tube and encouraged me to conceive again after two years. In January 1986, Dr. Ganguli delivered my second daughter, Aditi. For me, Dr. Ganguli ** **** **** *** gave me a second life.

Staff is extra busy, no time for queries. *********** ***** *** ********** Although I got the tests done three days before only (from a very famous hospital), still doctor asked to get all the tests done again. So, it's unnecessary expenditure and time n money wasted.

Not satisfied at all on the 'value for money's part.

What i observed is...when you will consult her. She will hardly talk to you. She has her assistants, they will talk to you. Then simply, she will hand over you a list of around 20 tests, which need to do. The tests if done at gangaram, reports will not be given to you but directly to doctor********** *** ****** **** *** ** *** *********** ****** **** **** ** **** *** ****** ****.

At a time, multiple patients attended.can't discuss with doctor in private.

All the tests cost was really very high..around 20 to 25K.

Very bad experience.

Very bad experience. She explains nothing to you regarding ur problems.

She maintains a panel of doctors and consultants inside her cabin and they continuously discus whatever they want to.

When i was there they were discussing about modi doing this modi doing that and everything else beside my problem.

When i asked her that i have a CGHS card so can i do the tests from dr lal pathlabs? She replied very rudely that if u want discount why don’t u go to the govt hospital for delivery.

I am really disappointed with ganguly mam.

She is very experienced in her profession but I don’t suggest any of my friends or colleagues to visit her.

When they told Ms. Ganguly about my sister’s problem she prescribed to go through ultrasound, and then in front of my mother she started questioning my sister , are you pregnant? Are you sexually active ? My mother replied “No “. Then she started asking my mother that how can she be so sure ? Nowadays girls go out for 1 hour and do all kind of stuffs, u cannot believe them now . These were the exact words uttered by her. My sister felt insulted and immediately left that place. I hope women (specially unmarried) would be cautious after knowing this, *** ****** ****** *** ****

Very Bad experience. After having arnd 1.5 lac for all checkups and treatments at d time of delivery she insist on cesarean & for asking d cause, she said Aapko Hindi mein samajh Nahi aata’ * ****** *** *** ** *********** ** ***** *** **** ** ********** ** ***** ** *** ********* ********* ** *** ****** **********
