Dr. Hitendra Garg

Dr.Hitendra Garg is a dynamic Gastroenterologist in New Delhi. He completed his MBBS in 1999 from Banaras Hindu University. He did his MD in General Medicine in 2003 and then obtained the postdoctoral DM super speciality degree in Gastroenterology from GB Pant Hospital in 2009. He has completed a 6-week dedicated Endoscopy Ultrasound (EUS) Fellowship from the Institute of Advanced Endoscopy in Mumbai, and a 3-week EUS Fellowship in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Garg has vast experience in treating liver, biliopancreatic and gut-related disorders. Dr. Garg has a number of publications to his name as co-author in national and international indexed journals. He has presented many of these orally or as posters, and won awards for his presentations on several occasions. He read a Paper at the plenary session of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) Annual Meeting in 2009, and a Paper on Hepatology at the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver Conference in 2010.
