Dr. Gaurav Kharbanda

After months of postponing (was quite worried and scared at the surgical procedure), I finally set a date for a dental implant surgery with Dr Kharbanda.

When I reached his clinic, after greeting me he asked ‘How are you feeling? Are you anxious?’

This simple question made me feel so comfortable. I felt seen, understood and cared for. And as I nodded, he asked gently: ‘What makes you anxious?’.

So as I put words to my concerns : What if it hurts even after the anesthesia? How long will I have to keep my mouth open at a stretch? what if I have to cough in-between? What are the likely post-surgery complications? How long before I can eat something?

He patiently answered the questions with logic and facts, not over or under promising. The whole conversation didn’t take more than 5 minutes. The next thing he did which further eased my anxiety was to introduce the dental implant surgery team to me by name, and me to them.

I really appreciated the doctor’s emotional intelligence- sensing my emotions, and drawing them out. Making the invisible visible. There was a relief in acknowledging and talking about feelings. And introducing me to his team also established a ‘human’ connection, because I know Dr Kharbanda for 5 years, but I was meeting them for the first time.

The surgery was easy and comfortable, and post that the healing was fast.

Dr Gaurav is highly competitive, and understanding doctor. He went through treatment of my mother's tooth problem with great care and patience. I and my family members are very satisfied and impressed with the professional and humane aspects of Dr Gaurav. Highly recommended...

Exceptionally committed, skilled, and kind, Dr. Kharbanda went out of his way to treat my mother during COVID. His clinic is spotless - a mark of his maintenance of the highest standards of hygiene. He also explains the diagnosis to patients with precision and patience, which leaves one with a clear understanding of the course ahead. Having him as a doctor has been a source of real solace.

A visit to the dentist is generally not considered as a pleasure, but Dr Gaurav Kharbanda made the experience painless. The treatment was great. Understandably I wish never to have a dental problem but if I do, Dr Gaurav Kharbanda is my choice of dentist.

The process was hassle free,surgeons AMD staff were.professional im their approach,later on consulted them over phone as I had pain in teeth area and they prescribed medicine..a very professional AMD good clinic over all
