I was diagnosed with SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) in 2024, and honestly, it was one of the toughest periods of my life. Over the next year, I consulted several doctors and followed different treatment plans, hoping to find some relief. Unfortunately, despite all the medications and appointments, my condition kept getting worse. By the winter of 2025, I was in constant pain and struggling with even the simplest daily activities.

My father first got temperature on 4 th sept than we thought it is just a normal viral and started medication but after five days of medication fever still persist than Dr in my home town advised few test like typhoid malaria dengue those all were negative than we get worries and we started visiting other Doctors in my home town but found no respite few of them suggested for cancer scan aswell which we did meanwhile temp continued in the range of 99.8 to 102 .It is almost 42 days that my father suffered from fever than we done a ANA test which got positive and we were advised that we should visit Major Gen Dr Darshan singh Bhakuni who is a senior Rematologist in max vaishali .First time on 14 oct we visited Dr Bakuni ,i must say that he is not only a beautiful Doctor but a very nice human being aswell.He thoroughly checked my father and gave his prescription and that day and now my father is improving and gained a weight and free from fever .

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Darshan Singh Bhakuni. My mother was suffering from progressively increasing weakness in the arms and legs for over a year. She could not easily lift light weights in her arms, or bend properly or get up from a seated position. She had trouble walking in a straight line, and often started swaying left or right when walking. She was also losing weight steadily, and lost about 8 kg in 1 year, without any change in diet and without any reduction in appetite. After a few months, she also started having trouble swallowing.

We described these issues to many physicians but none could identify the cause. She underwent many tests, ultrasounds, endoscopy, blood tests, cancer marker tests, but nothing was conclusive. Frequent advice included going for physiotherapy, yoga, eating more etc. After over a year, we could only see that something is wrong, but could not identify what it was.

On the consultation of a relative who is also a doctor, we performed some tests, and she suggested that we visit a rheumatologist. We went to Dr. Darshan Singh Bhakuni at Max Noida, and he performed some physical inspection to gauge the strenght in each muscle group. He was able to accurately identify the issue, and suggested some confirmatory tests. These tests confirmed his diagnosis of inflammatory polymyositis. His treatment is steadily improving my mother's condition.

We felt a great relief at finally being able to identify the underlying disease, as well as being on the right course of treatment. My wife had pain in the feet joints 3 years back followed by psoriasis and multiple joints swelling. We had visited multiple doctors including ortho Drs but no relief.
