Dr. Chanchal

Dr. Chanchal is a qualified Fetal Medicine specialist with a keen interest in high-risk pregnancy and fetal interventions. She did her MBBS at Lady Harding Medical College (LHMC), New Delhi, where the extensive exposure to high-risk pregnancy and pediatrics kindled her interest in the subject. After finishing her post-graduation and senior residency at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi, she went to National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore to pursue super-specialization in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She worked in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) of NUH’s renowned Obstetrics and Gynecology department for 2 years and also obtained her fellowship during this period. She also acquired Membership in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (MRCOG, UK) in 2010. She is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF, UK) to perform the 11-13+6 weeks’ scan, anomaly scan, obstetric Dopplers, cervical screening, and invasive procedures. She worked as a full-time consultant at Apollo Centre for Fetal Medicine, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi from 2012 to 2017 before joining Birthright, by Rainbow Children’s Hospital. Dr. Chanchal is a substantial contributor to academics and not only lectures regularly at conferences but also conducts workshops, teaching programs, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) events at the national level. In addition, she conducts regular CTG teaching courses, participates in RCOG accredited MRCOG preparation courses, and is involved in various research projects.
