Dr. Bhuvan Chanana

Dr. Bhuvan Chanana is presently working as head, vitreo-retina services in Bharti Eye Foundation And Hospital. He was earlier working as an associate professor in University College Of Medical Sciences, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi from march 2010 to august 2014. He started surgical retina in ophthalmology department there and was managing retina clinics of the institute. He was training, supervising and teaching postgraduate students and undergraduates.He did his post graduation (MD Ophthalmology) from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for ophthalmic sciences, All India Institute Of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, which is the most prestigious institute in India. Following his residency, he did his fellowship (senior residency) in vitreo-retina, retinopathy of prematurity and ocular trauma from AIIMS. He is also a Diplomate Of National Board (DNB) and FICO (UK). He worked as a fellow in vitreo-retina in inselspital, University Of Bern, Switzerland in 2013 and had an opportunity to work with world renowned eminent ophthalmologist.He has 62 publications in various international and national journals and several poster/paper presentations in conferences within India and abroad. He is a co-editor of book titled "Video atlas of vitreo- retinal surgery." he have been invited as a faculty in various teaching programs and state conferences.
